Jax Taylor wasted no time getting back to business amid his split from Brittany Cartwright, as he was spotted filming his new show The Valley on Monday.
The reality star maintained a low-key appearance on the set of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, donning a hoodie and baseball cap.
Shooting a scene alongside his The Valley castmate, Jason Caperna, Jax carried a to-go meal container.
The series follows Jax and Brittany as they navigate adulthood with their former Vanderpump Rules co-star Kristen Doute and introduces new characters, including Jason.
The outing comes a day after Brittany removed her married last name from her Instagram profile.

The beauty, 35, had her name listed as Brittany Cartwright Cauchi as of Saturday until she dropped her now-estranged husband’s name sometime on Sunday.
The social media move was not long after Jax claimed both he and Brittany are still living under the same roof.
Around the same time, Brittany also commented on their split and revealed to TMZ that she was willing to give Jax another chance – but only if he made some important changes ‘about his life.’
Earlier this week, Brittany, who shares two-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, announced their split on their joint podcast titled When Reality Hits.
Talking to TMZ in Los Angeles on Friday, Brittany mentioned her willingness to give Jax another chance.
When questioned about how they were attempting to ‘work through their troubles,’ she commented, ‘I mean, it’s Jax. So, he’s not really trying that much right now.’
Regarding marriage counseling, she mentioned, ‘I’ve asked him for a while to do certain things and nothing has come from that yet.’
She also dismissed speculation that the split and her move were a publicity stunt for The Valley, set to release later this month.

‘This is definitely for my mental health. Like, I think that has been one of the hardest parts right now – that people are speculating that I am doing something for the show coming up…No.’
The reality star continued, ‘Whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there’s only so much that you can take.’
‘And I deserve better, Cruz deserves better. We want a good co-parenting relationship and I think moving out and taking space to figure out if this is what I want is the best situation for me right now.’
Only hours after Brittany revealed on their podcast that they are ‘taking time apart’ after four years of marriage, Taylor told Page Six that they were not planning for ‘divorce.’
‘We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,’ he said, while also claiming that Brittany had already moved back in to their marital home in Sherman Oaks.
‘She was in a house for a while, but yeah, she’s back now,’ the TV personality added to the outlet.
‘It’s not evil or nastiness. It’s just two people that you know are hitting a 10-year mark in their marriage.’
Jax and Brittany initiated their relationship almost a decade ago, in 2015, following their first encounter in Las Vegas. Nevertheless, their romance faced a setback two years later when Taylor cheated with their co-star, Stowers.
Despite the challenges, the reality stars reconciled and exchanged vows in 2019.
Meanwhile, The Valley is set to premiere later this month on March 19.
The official premise ‘follows a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships.’

In a December 2020 announcement, Jax and Brittany revealed their departure from Vanderpump Rules, marking the end of a tumultuous journey.
Meanwhile, Doute faced a series exit earlier in June 2020, along with co-star Stassi Schroeder, following the revelation of the 2018 incident where she and Stassi called the police on former castmate Faith Stowers to implicate her in a crime she did not commit.
‘I think that they learned a lot, I think they appreciate what it means to be on television and have this opportunity when it’s taken away from them, so I think there’s that, ‘ producer Alex Baskin recently told The Hollywood Reporter.
‘We address the Kristen situation, as well, so it isn’t like we pretend that everything didn’t happen,’ he continued. ‘That comes up and is part of what we cover on the show.’
