In a video shared to the social media platform, Bec insisted Pink is an Aussie at heart, telling viewers: ‘Pink to me is Australian, I know she’s not, I know she has an American accent, but I feel like she’s an Australian trapped in an American’s life.
‘Whenever I see her doing anything, her mannerisms, everything about her screams Aussie to me. Like she’s giving Aussie.’
‘I know she’s not Aussie, but surely I can’t be the only one feeling this way. I know she’s not, and I don’t even know that much about Pink.
‘She might as well move here, because to me, she is giving Aussie!’
However, she quickly sparked uproar in the comments as hoards of Gen Z fans were quick to share their shock that Pink isn’t actually Australian.
‘Wait hold on, Pink is American? This is how I’m finding out Pink isn’t Australian,’ one said.

One said: ‘I swear there’s some mandala effect going on because I could’ve sworn she was Aussie.’
Responding to one follower, Bec doubled down on her theory as she replied: ‘The last video I saw of her she had no shoes on…can’t get more Aussie than that?!’
Pink lives on a sprawling 200-acre ranch in Santa Barbara, California, with her husband Carey Hart and their two children Willow, 12, and Jameson, seven.
She is currently Down Under with her family for the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival tour and has been spotted out-and-about exploring in a string of low-key outings.
Looking every inch the local, Pink has been seen heading on motorbike rides around the Gold Coast with her husband Carey and exploring Bondi Beach in Sydney.
In a recent social media post, Pink gushed over her love for Australia as she shared family photographs from their stint in Sydney for her first set of concerts.
