Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie looked unrecognisable as she swapped her usual blazer for a ballgown at the 2025 Midwinter Ball on Wednesday night.
The Australian politician turned heads as she descended the stairs in the Great Hall of Parliament House.
She looked glamorous as she arrived to the event in a budget-friendly gown.
Jacqui dazzled in a dark green tulle strappy dress from Forever New, which retails for $199.95.
She accessorised with a black heels, a sparkly gold clutch, a chunky floral necklace and matching earrings.
Jacqui finished her look by wearing her brunette tresses in an elegant updo with a number of strands framing her face.

The event came just days after Jacqui took a swipe at Donald Trump, claiming the US President is ‘really rude’ for not holding a meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese since he returned to power last year.
In an opinion piece published in Nine Newspapers, former Attorney-General George Brandis claimed that it was an ‘open secret’ in Washington that the Australian Embassy has been unable to secure a meeting for Albanese with Trump.
‘Any other Australian prime minister would have been in the White House by now. Albanese is in the doghouse,’ Brandis wrote.
But Jacqui, the Independent Senator for Tasmania, took a different view when asked by Today host Sarah Abo whether she agreed with Brandis’s assessment.
‘I think it’s probably worked well. Our tariffs didn’t go up a second time, so that was a bit of a bonus,’ Jacqui said on Monday.
‘So maybe if Albo stays away from him that may continue. But I think it’s really rude actually of Trump to be doing what he’s doing.
‘I know that the government of the day is doing everything it can to secure a meeting with him and him just ignoring it. It’s actually the embarrassment on Trump, it’s not on Albanese at all.
‘Quite frankly, if he doesn’t want to meet you, then why push the envelope.’

Jacqui argued that it was unacceptable that the US had placed tariffs on its supposedly close allies, especially when Australia was shelling out billions for the AUKUS submarine deal.
‘Seriously, I just think it’s really, really rude, considering we’ve got this big AUKUS deal that they’re doing us over on. We’ve already paid $2billion out already and we haven’t seen one piece of metal,’ Jacqui said.
‘I mean, it’s embarrassing, kissing their backside. Go figure. So you know, I don’t think it makes any difference.
‘Trump, even if you were mates with him or you weren’t, or no matter the times you see him, when he decides to make his mind up, he makes mind up and everybody else pays the consequences. So that’s how it works.’
Albanese had been due to meet President Trump on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada in June.
But the US President left the meeting of global world leaders early to deal with the crisis in ran.
