The Apprentice series 18 and its cast are establishing themselves as the competition enters its third week.
Among those hoping to secure Lord Sugar’s next £250,000 investment is Dr Paul Midha.
He is now the only remaining Paul after pie company owner Paul Bowen was sent packing by Lord Sugar in the second episode.
A dentist by trade, the BBC One series is not Paul’s first taste of extra-curricular fame, having previously appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.

Who is The Apprentice’s Dr Paul Midha?
Dr Paul Midha is a 29-year-old dentist and owner of the practice VICI Dental in Leeds.
After graduating as a dentist from the University of Sheffield in 2018, Paul acquired his first practice using practically every resource he has, with just £100 left in his account.
Over the next 15 months, the practice’s valuation soared to £900,000, something Paul described as ‘an exceptional growth of over five times its initial value’, and his biggest business success to date.
Like any successful businessperson, Paul has had to take the rough with the smooth, but he said that ‘every setback I’ve encountered has, in hindsight, played a pivotal role in subsequent successes’.
He added: ‘One significant underestimation on my part was the timeline for completing the acquisition of a dental practice, which took 14 months.
‘While this phase was demanding, it offered profound lessons in resilience and adaptability and ultimately made me a better businessperson.’
Away from the dentist’s chair, Paul has a hidden talent for body popping, which earned him wins on ‘numerous’ talent shows, and an audition on Britain’s Got Talent in his younger years.
That rare skill also saw him become an extra on a Disney TV programme.
Paul keeps his personal life to himself, with his social media largely dedicated to promoting his brand.

What has he said about going on The Apprentice?
Ahead of appearing on the show, Paul said he was ‘enthusiastic about learning from one of the UK’s most successful businessmen’ in his journey to hopefully ‘revolutionising the healthcare attire market’.
He told dentistry.co.uk after the show’s first episode this year: ‘I vividly remember watching the show with my parents the night before my business studies exam when I was just 16, thinking, “One day, that’ll be me.”
‘Now, 13 years later, it’s happening, and it all feels surreal, like life’s just a dream.’
Paul added that he was surprised how similar the challenges felt in real life compared to how they came across on TV.

The series continues every Thursday at the same time until the 12th and final episode in April.
The winner will become Lord Sugar’s newest business partner, claiming a £250,000 injection from him into their proposed business.
