Lil Nas X was seen making his way out of a Los Angeles-area courthouse on Monday as he made his $75,000 bail, leading to his release from custody after spending more than three days in jail after his battery arrest Thursday.
The Montero (Call Me by Your Name) artist, 26, donned a full-body, baby blue jumpsuit in Van Nuys, California as he was led away from the legal facility after his arrest in nearby Studio City, California.
Lil Nas X was charged with multiple felonies, leaving him exposed to five years in state prison if convicted of the charges he’s accused of.
The Atlanta native was arrested after police witnessed him walking down Ventura Avenue in Studio City, leading to a confrontation in which authorities used a Taser to subdue him, TMZ reported Monday.
Lil Nas X’s charges include three felony battery counts, including injury on a police officer and resisting an executive officer.
It appears that the Old Town Road artist has a brewing legal battle on his hands.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman vowed that he will bring the musical artist to justice for his alleged attack on a group of police officers Thursday.
‘Attacking police officers is more than just a crime against those individuals,’ Hochman said in a statement, ‘but a direct threat to public safety.’
The prosecutor added that the Grammy-winning artist, whose full name is Montero Lamar Hill, should not expect any special treatment in the wake of the confrontation in the San Fernando Valley last week.
‘Anyone who assaults law enforcement will face serious consequences, no matter who they are or how famous they may be,’ Hochman said.
Lil Nas X has past collaborated with artists such as Cardi B, DaBaby, Jack Harlow and Billy Ray Cyrus.
