She shocked her fans this week whens he revealed that she had adopted a baby daughter with her husband Jake Bongiovi.

And now Millie Bobby Brown is going viral again after a clip shot prior to her new adoption is gaining traction on social media.

In it, the 21-year-old Stranger Things star weighs in on whether she would allow her future children to pursue acting as a career while they were still children, just like she did.

Millie — who was seen out on a walk with her new daughter and her husband on Thursday in photos obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail — was asked if she would try to dissuade her children from following in her footsteps while promoting her Netflix film The Electric State, which costars Chris Pratt and has received a scathing six percent rotten rating from the most prestigious critics surveyed by Rotten Tomatoes.

In the clip, the interviewer noted that Millie had just turned 21 and asked her how she would respond ‘In the future, if you have a child, and your child was like, “Mummy, I want to be a child actor just like you.”‘

After noting that audiences had watched the former child star grow up on screen, the interviewer asked if Millie would let her child take the same career path based on her experiences in Hollywood.

‘I would do exactly what my parents did to me, which was just encourage me to be myself,’ Millie began.

‘And if that’s something that I wanted to explore doing, I would support them,’ she continued, though she added that she would ‘protect them in the way that my parents protected me.’

Millie made it clear that she wasn’t interested in dissuading her children from getting into show business.

‘I always encourage any young person to achieve their dreams, and if I can help it in any way, I absolutely will,’ she said.

The interview, which was shot prior to The Electric State’s premiere on Netflix in March of this year, comes after Millie announced that she and her husband Jake had welcomed their first child via adoption, and several of the commenters on the video referenced the new family development.

‘I’m here after her adoption announcement 😭,’ one fan wrote in the comments.

‘She’ll be a very good mom 🥹,’ added another user.

One poster wrote, ‘She probably thought deep on this because she knew she was gonna have a child soon rather then later.’

In the clip, the interviewer asked her how she would respond 'In the future, if you have a child, and your child was like, "Mummy, I want to be a child actor just like you"'

After Millie’s family moved from the UK to America when she was just eight, she got her first acting role around a year later with a guest part on ABC’s Once Upon A Time spinoff Once Upon A Time In Wonderland as a young version of Alice.

A year later, she appeared in the thriller series Intruders, a co-production of BBC America and BBC Two, which marked her debut in a starring role.

She went on to score guest roles in major shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family and NCIS in the following years, before her breakout role in Netflix’s massively popular sci-fi thriller Stranger Things, which debuted in 2016.

The show’s fifth and final season is expected to be released in three parts beginning in November of this year, nearly a decade after it debuted.

Since then, she has appeared in high-profile feature films including Godzilla: King Of The Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong, as well as two lower-profile Enola Holmes movies for Netflix and The Electric State, which had a massive budget of a reported $320 million and was savaged by critics.

‘And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’

The couple have yet to share any images of their daughter but Bongiovi was seen pushing a stroller on July 20 in a post shared by Brown captioned: ‘helluva summer thus far.’

In March Brown opened up about starting a family with Bongiovi and revealed that he already knew ‘how important’ it is to her.

The pair married in May 2024 and the couple had discussed having children , adoption, and their plans on having a big family.

During an appearance on the Smartless podcast, which is hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the actress said that although she knows she is ‘really young,’ she is looking forward to motherhood.

‘My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,’ she explained.

‘Since I was a baby… I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. And my nan, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life.

‘And so, yeah, I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,’ Millie continued.

‘It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.’

Brown then added: ‘And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.

‘I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [from] adopting.’

She went on to say: ‘My home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we kind of stand by, Jake and I, our energy in the house is “the door is always open”, and we want everyone to feel really comfortable.’

Her comments come just a few weeks after she opened up to Vanity Fair in February about her relationship with Bongiovi and how they’re ‘pretty united’ on major topics.

‘We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,’ she told the publication.

‘It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.’

Brown and Bongiovi, whose father is musician Jon Bon Jovi, first started dating in 2021 and announced their engagement in April 2023.

The couple tied the knot in May 2024 in a lavish ceremony in Italy where they said ‘I do’ at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
