Kaz Kamwi’s ex Tyler Cruickshank was announced as Love Island All Stars’ latest bombshell during Monday’s episode.

The pair met on the 2021 series of the ITV2 dating show and were together for three months before calling time on their romance in December.

And Kaz looked gobsmacked as Tyler entered the villa for a second time, before picking her to couple up with.

Kaz, who was coupled up with Luis Morrison before he was dumped from the villa, has yet to find a connection with any of the lads.

Tyler said: ‘I haven’t seen Kaz for two years, which is a long time. She is a lovely girl and has a heart of gold. There shouldn’t be any bad blood between us, especially not on my side. Kaz deserves the world.

‘I won’t know how I feel seeing her until I see her.’

Speaking on why he’s returning to the famous villa, Tyler said: ‘My last serious relationship was two years ago. It’s amazing to get another opportunity to go back into the Villa. I loved the experience the first time and never thought I’d get the chance to do it again.

‘Hopefully I’ll find the love of my life after being out of the dating game for two years.’

Kaz and Tyler confirmed they had split in December 2021, blaming the ‘adjustment to being in the public eye’ as the reason for the break up.

In a joint statement at the time, they said: ‘We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship.

‘We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us. We will continue to be very much in one another’s lives and support each other in every way.

‘We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each other’s careers.’

They added: ‘Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we’re learning.

‘Thank you to very single person who has supported us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.’

After the announcement, Kaz claimed she wasn’t ‘appreciated’ by ex-boyfriend Tyler and their split made her feel ‘vulnerable and insecure.’

She confessed to being ‘naïve’ after ‘a lot of people saw things that she didn’t see’ as she spoke about their breakup for the first time.

Kaz insisted she didn’t ‘fake’ her feelings and was left doubting if she was ever good enough.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, she said: ‘Obviously I am single now, I was in a relationship the last time I was on this channel.

‘Being single in itself that is not an issue that is fine. What is really hard is Twitter… when everything happened even before we confirmed anything everyone gave their opinions.

‘I get it, on one hand everyone is entitled to their opinion that’s fine, and a lot of people saw things that I didn’t see at the time. I was very naïve. It’s okay it’s fine…

‘I learned so much from that breakup and period of time. At the end of the day some relationships work, and some don’t and this one just didn’t.

‘I was never faking it, I never acted up online for it, I was very much myself and I was how I would be in any other relationship, so I gave my 100 per cent and I don’t think I was fully appreciated but that’s just life.’

Influencer Kaz explained that she struggled to cope after the couple separated because she ‘lost a lot of her confidence.’

She continued: ‘I feel like when it all happened publicly, my God. It was really hard when a message was being put out there that basically said you’re not good enough.

‘I found that really hard. I feel like ever since I have come out that has been a massive thing in general. Am I being sensitive? It is just really hard navigating and processing everything.

‘I have lost a lot of my confidence the last couple of months and trying to gain it back it’s a journey.’
