Millie Gibson set pulses racing as she took to Instagram on Saturday to share a stunning bikini snap,
The former soap star, 19, has been enjoying some downtime in Costa Rica after she was reportedly ‘axed’ from Doctor Who after just one series.
However, she didn’t appear fazed as she relaxed on her sun-soaked getaway after jetting off to Costa Rica earlier this week.
The star has been keeping fans updated throughout her trip by sharing enviable holiday snaps, and she most recently shared a waterfall snap with her followers.
In the racy snap, Millie showed off her incredible figure in a skimpy blue two-piece as the camera snapped the back of her while she enjoyed a dip.

Amid reports of her axing, a resurfaced interview saw Millie admit that if her new role on Doctor Who ‘went wrong, at least she’d tried it’ as she gambled her steady job on Coronation Street.
She made her much-anticipated debut as the Fifteenth Doctor’s companion Ruby Sunday in the 2023 Christmas special but has now reportedly been dropped after just one series.
With Millie’s character reportedly being written out by showrunner Russell T Davies, her co-star Ncuti Gatwa has since broken his silence by showing his support.
He took to his Instagram Stories and shared a photo with Millie and wrote: ‘My lil [heart emoji].’ Millie has so far remained silent on reports she has left the show.
The upcoming 2024 season of the smash hit sci-fi show will return to screens in May for an eight-episode run, with Ncuti taking over as the iconic Time Lord.
However, Millie will now reportedly only appear in a handful of episodes before being replaced by Varada Sethu, 32, who is said to have already started filming.
After starring as trouble-prone teen Kelly Neelan on Coronation Street since 2019, the actress decided to take a huge risk and leave the soap, a prospect which appeared to have initially paid off.
Speaking to the Independent last month, Millie explained: ‘I’d thought: “I’m so young, why the hell not? I’ve not got a mortgage, I’ve not got kids, not got anyone to pay. So if it does go wrong, at least I’ll have tried it.'”

During her last day on the set of the ITV soap opera, she recalled, ‘feeling a little bit sorry for myself, wondering if I’d made the right decision’.
Luckily, after her final episode aired, she received ‘a group call from all three of my agents.’
‘Whenever you get that, it either means you’ve been cancelled or you’ve got an amazing part. Thankfully, it was the latter,’ Mille added.
On Friday, it was claimed that Millie will be finishing up on Doctor Who in the coming weeks to ‘tie up loose ends’ and will not appear in the 2024 Christmas special.
An insider told The Mirror: ‘Millie Gibson has all but left now and there’s a brand new companion, which is really exciting. Russell is keeping things moving and isn’t letting the grass grow, that’s for sure.’
MailOnline has contacted Millie and Varada’s representatives. The BBC declined to comment on the claims.
After landing the role, Millie initially admitted she was finding her newfound fame ‘hard to accept’ as she prepared to make her long-awaited TARDIS debut.

Doctor Who is famous for its dramatic regenerations, when a new actor takes on the title role every few years – but the hit BBC show also has the power to transform careers.
Having already displayed her acting skills on a gritty soap, Brand and culture expert Nick Ede predicted that Millie’s appearance on Doctor Who will make her ‘one to watch in 2024.’
He told The Sun: ‘Millie tackled some really heavy storylines in Corrie, which will show Hollywood producers she’s adept at lots of roles and is a very believable actress.
‘Paired with her good looks and terrific personality, I can see her being cast in a blockbuster quicker than you can say Tardis.’
The star made the huge decision to leave Coronation Street last year after four years as Kelly, and just months later she was announced as The Doctor’s new companion.
She said: ‘It’s really easy to get too comfy there and a part of me was like, ‘If I don’t leave now, I won’t leave for a while. They didn’t kill me off, which is lovely. So if it all goes wrong I can come crawling back.’

Within a year, Millie was signed by a Manchester-based talent agency and won her first television role in 2017, when she was just 13 years old, on the children’s BBC show Jamie Johnson.
It was followed by the BBC1 drama Love, Lies And Records and ITV mini-series Butterfly, before she caught the eye of the Coronation Street team.
When Millie was 15 she was signed up for five episodes to play the troubled Kelly, but impressed bosses so much that her contract was extended.
In 2022 she was named best young performer at the British Soap Awards. Her achievement echoed that of Jenna Coleman, who won the gong for best newcomer at the same event in 2006 for playing Emmerdale’s journalist, Jasmine Thomas.
