Sofia Vergara gushed about the variety of eligible men in New York City on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.
The 51-year-old actress while looking stunning in a black sheath dress told host Jimmy, 49, that she loved the city for its energy.
‘I think that you have more options with men, also. I’m single now,’ said Sofia, who announced her split from ex-husband Joe Manganiello, 48, last July.
‘So in New York there’s more people, there’s not only like actors, write[rs] or directors. I think there’s like a bigger… I’m going to spend more time in New York,’ Sofia said.

She told Jimmy that she was not good with the cold weather in New York City.
‘I had a panic attack when I woke up this morning and I saw the snow and I was like, ”We have to cancel this whole world tour for Griselda because…I don’t think I can do it”,’ Sofia said.
‘Do it in the summer,’ Jimmy said.
Sofia said she had been working on playing the dramatic role of drug lord Griselda Blanco for 15 years.
‘She was one of the biggest drug dealers that ever existed in Colombia ,’ Sofia said. ‘She was not really well known. It was fascinating for me because one of the reasons why she was able to get away with so much was actually because she was a woman. They were never thinking that a woman was capable of doing the horrific things that she did.’
Sofia said her character was actually raising four kids while she was becoming a ‘monster.’ Sofia said she knew the world depicted in the miniseries from growing up in Colombia and that her brother Rafael was part of the business and ‘he was killed in the ’90s.’
Sofia said the miniseries is set in Miami, but was actually filmed in Los Angeles. Andrés Baiz, 49, who previously directed Narcos, directed the six-episode series and Sofia said he mentored her through the filming.
‘I didn’t know anything,’ Sofia said. ‘He taught me how to smoke. He taught me how to do cocaine.’
Sofia said she was 51 and didn’t even know how to light a cigarette.

‘I had never done cocaine,’ Sofia said. ‘It was amazing. It was a great experience.’
Sofia clarified saying that the cigarettes and the cocaine were fake, ‘but the acting was real.’
‘I had to pretend,’ Sofia said.
Jimmy played a clip from the movie that showed Sofia as Griselda bloodied up while making a drug deal.
Sofia later played a Funny Face Filter Challenge game with Jimmy.

The game involved Sofia and Jimmy holding water in their mouth while a filter was applied to their faces
‘Why always these stupid games, why?,’ Sofia asked.
They both took giant sips of water and then turned to each other after funny filters had been put on their faces and tried to not spit out the water from laughing.
‘Are you an idiot?,’ Sofia asked Jimmy after the first round of the silly game. ‘This can’t be a real game.’
Jimmy, who was accused of creating a ‘toxic work environment’ in a September article by Rolling Stone, has been host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since 2014.
