Matthew Perry’s ex Lizzy Caplan attended Monday’s Emmy Awards with husband Tom Riley – where the late Friends actor was honored during the In Memoriam segment.
Caplan, 41, who dated Perry from 2006-2012, wore a strapless black lace tulle gown teamed with red lipstick, as she held hands with Riley, 42.
The Cloverfield actress was nominated in the Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie category for Fleishman Is in Trouble – but lost to Ali Wong in Beef.
Perry’s longest relationship was with Mean Girls alum Caplan. One of the few times they were seen together was in September 2011 while taking in a US Open tennis match at Flushing Meadows in New York.
The pair were so discreet that their separation, which took place in 2012, was not made public until a year and a half later in October 2013, with a source telling US Weekly magazine.

A source told MailOnline in 2013 that the relationship had been rocky toward the end.
‘For the last year that they were together it was very up and down, a lot of back and forth,’ they said.
‘It was hard for them to let go but ultimately Lizzy decided she wanted more.
‘Maybe Matthew just didn’t want to marry Lizzy or maybe he never wants to get married at all,’ adds the source. ‘I don’t know, but I do know it was an issue for them. They’re both decent people. I don’t think the split was ugly.’
Perry – who died aged 54 from a ketamine overdose in November – was honored at the show.
Charlie Puth sung the 2015 song he’s featured on with Wiz Khalifa entitled I’ll See You Again, which was written as a tribute to the late Paul Walker and featured on the soundtrack of Furious 7.
Puth was joined by The War and Treaty for this In Memoriam rendition, though they had quite the surprise up their sleeve.
Towards the end of the song, they suddenly broke into a more soulful rendition of the Friends theme song I’ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts – after Jennifer Aniston urged fans to celebrate his life at the Critics Choice Awards
Just as they finished up the chorus, a tribute to Perry, who passed away in October at just 54, was shown on screen, as the crowd broke into applause.

Perry’s photo was then added to a collage of all of those who were shown in the tribute, which began with a tribute to another TV legend: Norman Lear.
Two of the stars of Lear’s seminal series All in the Family – Rob Reiner and Sally Struthers – introduced the segment in a rendition of the Bunker family home.
The segment then cut to a shot of Norman Lear’s iconic white hat, before showing his tribute image.
Others remembered during the segment included actor Adan Canto, who passed away just one week ago at 42 after battling appendix cancer.
Shaft star Richard Roundtree was also honored, along with actors such as Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad) and Annie Wersching (24).
Angela Lansbury (Murder She Wrote) and Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss (Ellen) also drew applause from the crowd, along with Richard Belzer (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us), Treat Williams (Everwood) and Angus Cloud (Euphoria).
Others honored included Lance Reddick, Suzanne Somers, John Beasley, Leslie Jordan, Jim Brown, David McCallum, Len Goodman, Cindy Williams, Harry Belafonte, Bob Barker, Paul Reubens, Kirstie Alley, Andre Braugher, Alan Arkin and Barbara Walters.
Fans had a wide variety of reactions to the segment on social media, with many still mourning the loss of Perry.
