She said: ‘There’s nothing more motivating than your ex-boyfriend having done the show. I’ve got to get past Kem, that’s the goal. I’ve got to beat the ex!’
TV presenter Kem, 27, appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2018 and finished in fourth place with professional partner Alex Murphy.
Amber and Kem shot to fame in 2017 when they won the hit ITV2 dating show, bagging the amazing £50,000 prize, which they chose to share.
Following her Love Island stint, Amber went into musical theatre and has gone from strength to strength, having appeared in 9 to 5, Bring It On, Back to the Future and Pretty Woman musicals.
And despite appearing in an episode of The Kardashians last month, after Kim Kardashian watched her performance in Back To The Future during a London trip, Amber revealed how she thought her telly career was over.
She said: ‘I thought the TV life, that ship had sailed. I thought I’d never do television again.
‘When Dancing on Ice approached me I thought, ‘Wow!’ I mean it’s not like a show about personality, it’s a skill. It was so up my street.
‘I thought it would be really lovely for the public to see me as I am now and not who I was at 20 years old and see how I’ve grown and become an adult.
