Cillian Murphy led the British and Irish boys as the male stars flocked to The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday afternoon for the glitzy 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The actor, 47, who is nominated in for the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in last year’s Oppenheimer, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and a white shirt.
He was joined by Sam Claflin, Matthew MacFadyen and Andrew Scott who all graced the red carpet in stylish attire.
Sam, 37, who is nominated in the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television category for his role as Billy Dunne in Daisy Jones and the Six, donned a white dinner jacket for the evening.
He donned a white shirt which he teamed with a black bow tie to match his trousers and shoes.

Matthew MacFadyen won the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television gong for his role as Tom Wambsgans in Succession.
The actor, 49, wore a black dinner suit and a matching bow tie before heading into the awards ceremony.
Elsewhere, Andrew looked smart in a white Valentino suit which he teamed with a matching vest top and some shoes in the same colour.
Andrew was nominated for the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama award for his role as Adam in film All of Us Strangers.

The most hotly anticipated movies of the past year – Barbie and Oppenheimer – lead the nominations.
Barbie dominated the nominations with nine nods for the blockbuster film, including best picture musical or comedy, as well as acting nominations for Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and three of its original songs.
It was closely followed by its ‘Barbenheimer’ release date companion Oppenheimer, which scored eight nominations, including best picture drama and for actors Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.

The Saltburn star, 31, turned heads as he made a solo appearance on the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton without girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter, 24.
Barry rocked a checked blazer and tucked a crisp white shirt into a pair of matching red trousers.
It comes as Barry reportedly was set to go public with his new girlfriend Sabrina at the star-studded event.
He is said to have told his ex-girlfriend Alyson Kierans he will be stepping out to the glitzy ceremony with his new love, with news of Barry’s split from Alyson emerging in July last year.
Irish actor Barry and US singer Sabrina were first linked last month when they were seen going out for dinner in Los Angeles.
A source told The Sun of the film star, who is father to son Brando with his ex Alyson: ‘Barry thought it was best that Alyson was the first to know about him and Sabrina so she wouldn’t be hurt if she found out on social media.
‘He is spending a lot of time in the States and has invited Sabrina to be his ‘plus one’ at the Golden Globes.

It was reported Barry – who is up for the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture gong at the Golden Globes for playing student Oliver Quick Amazon’s Saltburn – split from his girlfriend of two-and-a-half Alyson in July last year.
The former couple made their red carpet debut in October 2021 and went on to welcome a son, 17 months, together.
But Barry and Alyson, who were private about their romance, reportedly went their separate ways, with sources describing the split as ‘incredibly sad’.
It was said at the time that they were ‘determined to do the best for their son’ after they decided to break up following rows about late night partying, according to The Sun.

Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon has also been nominated for seven awards. Leonardo DiCaprio is up for best male actor in a motion picture drama – while Robert De Niro is up for best supporting male actor.
The legendary director’s movie is also nominated for best picture drama.
Scorsese himself has been nominated for best director for a motion picture – alongside Bradley Cooper for Maestro, Yorgos Lanthimos for Poor Things, Celine Song for Past Lives, and the Barbenheimer duo Gerwig and Nolan.
Three actors from Succession have been nominated for best television male actor in a drama series – Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, and Jeremy Strong.

Gary Oldman, of Slow Horses, Pedro Pascal, of The Last of Us, and Dominic West, of The Crown, are also nominated in the same category.
In the respective category for female actors, Succession’s Sarah Snook was nominated – alongside Helen Mirren for her performance in 1923, Bella Ramsey for her work in The Last of Us, and The Crown’s Imelda Staunton.
Keri Russell, of The Diplomat, and The Curse’s Emma Stone were also nominated for best television female actor drama series.
The Golden Globes announced the nominees for best female actor in a motion picture musical or comedy – Fantasia Barrino, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Alma Poysti, Margot Robbie, and Emma Stone.
In the best movie musical or comedy category, Air, American Fiction, Barbie, The Holdovers, May December, and Poor Things were all nominated.
