Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria is showing off a scar from a past broken hip injury that left her struggling to walk for nearly one year.
The 41-year-old TV personality — who has recently been embroiled in rumors she could join the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars — jumped to her Instagram page on Sunday to share a clip of herself doing yoga.
In the caption, the mom-of-seven opened up about the importance of movement while also getting candid about a broken hip that took her ‘years’ to recover from.
Hilaria could be seen doing stretches upside down while leaning against a wall inside a spacious living room.
She sported a vibrant orange sports bra as well as matching bottoms to give her followers a glimpse at a scar on her upper left hip area.
The star wrote, ‘broke my hip when I was 25 and couldn’t walk well for the better part of a year. You can see the scar on the outside of my hip.’

Hilaria added, ‘It took me years to recover and to be quite honest, it will never be the same. Moving for me isn’t just fun, grounding and how I feel good, it’s daily gratitude…’
The reality star has suffered other injuries in the past as well, such as in 2020 when she broke her ankle.
At the time, she explained that the incident occurred when she ‘went for a run and a car passed fast on this patch or road with no shoulder where there was a berm.
‘I ran up on to the berm to avoid the car and as I was returning to the road, I fell and broke my ankle.’
And last year in 2024, Hilaria was spotted on a stroll in New York City while sporting a boot on her right foot.
In her 2016 book titled The Living Clearly Method: 5 Principles for a Fit Body, Healthy Mind & Joyful Life, the mom-of-seven talked about fitness and movement.
‘The mind and the body speak two different languages. The body speaks a language of movement. The mind is very wrapped up in drama.’
She continued, ‘The mind is able to listen and speak to the body: “Get off the couch and go for a walk because I will feel better afterward.” When your mind and body synch up, you’ll find joy.’

Aside from her passion for yoga, Hilaria also enjoys dancing – and recently sparked differing opinions over rumors that she could be joining the next season of Dancing With The Stars.
Season 34 is set to begin airing next month on September 16, but the official cast has yet to be announced.
The star fueled speculation this month that she could be a celebrity contestant on the show when she uploaded a reel of herself dancing alongside a fan comment that read: ‘Girl can dance!! Getting ready for DWTS?’
While Hilaria did not directly answer the question, her reposting the comment further ignited the rumors.
Some social media users offered words of support to Hilaria, with one penning, ‘I would love to see you on DWTS,’ and another said, ‘We need to start a petition that hilaria should be on DWTS!!’
However, others disagreed with one sharing, ‘This would be insufferable,’ and a TikTok user adding, ‘Give it up!!’
‘Am I the only one that’s really tired of the Baldwins? I literally couldn’t get through their reality show. She’s incorrigible,’ another wrote.
One also typed out, ‘LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! Must be exhausting for family members!’

Earlier this year, their TLC reality series The Baldwins began airing in February and officially concluded in April after eight episodes.
The show gave, ‘An intimate, behind-the-scenes look into the lives of Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and their seven children.
‘This series blends the highs and lows of family life, with the challenges and humor that come while raising a large family in the public eye,’ per an official synopsis.
However, The Baldwins garnered poor reviews upon its release and a second season has yet to be confirmed.
Back in May, Hilaria’s memoir Manuel Not Included also hit shelves – where she opened up about raising seven children with Alec and also addressed her accent controversy as well as the affect the Rust shooting had on her family.
In July of last year, Alec’s involuntary manslaughter trial was dismissed over the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on set of Rust in 2021. The single bullet also hit director Joel Souza’s arm.
