Jeremy Clarkson has revealed his right hand man Kaleb Cooper has welcomed a baby.
When he’s not helping the former Top Gear presenter out of disasters, the experienced farmer, 27, has a cosy family life with fiancée Taya.
The couple share two children and just last week welcomed another little one in to the world.Â
Clarkson broke the news and revealed exactly how his farming companion reacted when his partner revealed she was about to give birth.Â
He apparently told her to hang on and he would be there as soon as he had finished harvesting the field.
Clarkson joked that the response was ‘very farmerish’ but added that he still managed to finish in record time to dash off and be by Taya’s side as they met the newest member of their family.Â
And while the former Grand Tour host was more than pleased for Cooper, he did have a very unusual suggestion for a name.
Rather than putting his own moniker forward, Clarkson instead made a suggestion that included a nod to Cooper’s farming background.

Writing in his column in The Sun, he revealed that one of his and Cooper’s friends had suggested calling the new baby after the field where the farmer had been harvesting when the exciting call came through that Taya was in labour.Â
Unfortunately, the name of the field was less than ideal.
Clarkson wrote: ‘Nice idea, except for one small detail. the field was called Deadman’.
Cooper and his fianceé live together in the village of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, where the farmer has spent his whole life.Â
The couple are childhood sweethearts having got together in 2016.
But it wasn’t until Christmas day 2022 that the TV star got down on one knee and asked Taya to marry him.
Posting a snap of the two of them to social media, Cooper revealed the exciting news.Â
In the post, Taya held up her ring and grinned at the camera as she hugged Cooper.

Speaking previously about becoming a father, he confessed he felt ‘useless’ and hated seeing his partner in pain as she gave birth (Taya pictured with Willa)
The caption read: ‘She said yes! 2022 has been an amazing year. This definitely tops it off. I honestly can’t wait for 2023 and all the following years after that. @tayaaaxx your my best friend as well as the love of my life. Was a long wait for this(6 and a half years)’.

Speaking to The Times Magazine, Kaleb told how he felt he didn’t know what he was doing when it came to welcoming his son into the world.
He said: ‘It was f***ing terrible, because when I’m helping that cow, I know exactly what I’m doing. I can bring the calf around to the mum and so on.Â
‘Now, when Taya was giving birth, I felt useless. I’m seeing her in pain having one of my kids.’

Kaleb also discussed how he and Taya have bucked the trend of the younger generation who are having children later in life.
He said: ‘I wanted a girl and boy, which I’ve got and am very grateful. Then when I get older I can go down the pub with them, or out on the tractors, and I can still be energetic.’Â
Asked if he could be having more fun now, he said: ‘I’ll make all the money now, hopefully have a farm, then chill out, go partying and be in Ibiza, though I can’t think of anything worse than being in a nightclub.’
The proud parents are yet to tie the know but Cooper previously revealed that there are plans and wedding bells are in the works.Â
He revealed that they began planning after the birth of their second child and hope to get married soon, confessing sweetly ‘My other half is the reason I am where I am today’.
