I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left in hysterics as Sam Thompson took on his first solo Bushtucker Trial on Thursday.
The Made In Chelsea star, 31, was voted by his campmates to take on the No Time To Cry trial by himself, with Sam making his nerves clear ahead of the challenge.
The trial, which saw Sam crawl into an underground lair where he was faced with lasers and critters, was the same challenge which Nella Rose previously failed to complete.
But Sam had more luck as he took home the full six stars for the camp, despite having to repeatedly be reminded to actually pick up the stars as he got carried away trying to complete the trial.
Viewers took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their amused reactions to Sam’s antics as he called himself ‘Agent Murph’ and egged himself on as he crawled through critter-filled boxes.

Fans admitted they were left in stitches as he pretended to be a secret agent throughout the trial and forgot to look for the stars while evading lasers and electric shocks.
One wrote: ‘Love that Sam completely forgot about looking for stars,’ another said: ‘Why is Sam giving me Jonny English English vibes with him being an ‘agent’.’
A third tweeted: ‘Sam calling himself Agent Murph. I love his imagination,’ a fourth said: ‘Sam commentating himself through this trial as “Agent Murph” while leaving all the stars behind has me dying.’
Another gushed: ‘Think Sam’s the best contestant they’ve had, so funny. Even how Ant & Dec are interacting with him,’ and one added: ‘This trial is so chaotic but so entertaining.’
During the trial, Sam hilariously narrated his actions and called himself ‘Agent Murph’ as he egged himself on while evading lasers, electric shocks and critters.
As he tried to climb through a room of lasers, Dec told him: ‘You’re in the laser room, do not break the beams.’
While an enthusiastic Sam shouted: ‘This is SO cool,’ as he appeared thrilled to be taking part.
However, he got so carried away with channeling his inner secret agent that he hilariously forgot to look for the stars and broke the beam trying to go back.

When he broke the beams multiple times, he shouted: ‘How, how have I done this?’ before realising: ‘It’s the [star] bag!’
Egging himself on, he hilariously said: ‘You’ve got so much time Agent Murph, don’t get this wrong,’ while Ant added: ‘Come on Murph, believe in yourself.’
Sam then faced being electrocuted and once again forgot the star again as he tried to evade the shocks and had to go back for it.
Next, he faced green ants and told himself: ‘Don’t feel the bites, it’s not about the bites, it’s about Agent Murph and making Ant and Dec proud.’
As he progressed, he suddenly plunged straight through a trapdoor and fell into a container filled with water and crocodiles.
Sam then swam through to the next section where he had to get the star from a container underwater.
He then entered a section full of snakes and exclaimed: ‘Oh my god, he’s looking right at me.’
At the end of the trial, Sam left Ant and Dec in stitches as he army rolled out of the lair as he continued his enthusiastic antics.
Ant said: ‘I don’t think we’ve ever had a celebrity rollout of a Bushtucker Trial before!’

He told Ant and Dec: ‘Mate, I’m so happy. Thank you so much for having me’ after he took home the full six stars for the camp
While Sam said with a grin: ‘That was the best thing in the entire world. It was terrifying, I hate green ants and I hate snakes and I hate cockroaches.’
Ant said: ‘It was like watching a blockbuster Hollywood movie,’ while Dec added: ‘A very low-budget one.’
Sam admitted: ‘I felt like Tom Cruise a little bit,’ before telling Ant and Dec: ‘Mate, I’m so happy. Thank you so much for having me.’
The hosts hilariously said they wished more stars were as happy to take part in Bushtucker Trials as Sam headed off to tell the camp of his six-star success.
