During an earlier appearance at Paris Fashion Week, the London-born star was spotted wearing a silver band on her ring finger as she strode through the French capital in jeans and a dark blazer.

The mystery deepened at the New York premiere of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, where Rosamund posed for photographers with a band clearly visible on her ring finger – before later shifting it to the middle finger of her left hand.

As well as having sons with Rosamund, he has a son with ex-wife Emma Howard and three children with his second wife, interior designer Rose Uniacke.

Before finding happiness with Robie in 2009, Rosamund had two significant relationships that shaped her cautious views on marriage.

Her first love was actor Simon Woods, 45, whom she met while both were studying English at Oxford. They were together for two years before parting when he came to terms with his sexuality. He later built a life with his now-husband Christopher Bailey, the former chief executive of Burberry.

Shortly after, she fell for Atonement and Darkest Hour director Joe Wright.

The pair became engaged in 2007 after meeting on the set of Pride & Prejudice in 2005 and bought a home together – but the relationship crumbled while planning the wedding.

The CEO of the London Lions has hailed the potential expansion of the NBA into the UK amid plans for a league to be set up in Europe – but says lofty ticket costs could be the price to pay for a ‘premium product’.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver has been vocal about his vision for an ‘NBA Europe’ as some of the league’s biggest teams, Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies, face off in London on Sunday.

But with tickets ranging from £200 to as high as £1,000 available hours before the showpiece event tipped–off at the city’s O2 Arena – where the likes of Thierry Henry, Virgil van Dijk, Marcelo and Declan Rice were spotted – fans have bemoaned feeling priced out of watching the sport’s best stars on the league’s 10th visit to Britain.

However, the league could soon become a British mainstay as plans for the European league continue to intensify, with a team from London and Manchester expected to be brought on board a 16-team division that could start as soon as 2027.

Silver, who met with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan last summer to discuss investment in grassroots British basketball, is looking to capitalise on the sport’s growing popularity in Europe by harnessing the continent’s football culture — having already met with the likes of Man City, Man United, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

And Lenz Balan, chief executive and president of the London Lions — currently top of Super League Basketball (SLB), which replaced the now–defunct British Basketball League (BBL) — believes there has never been a more exciting time to be involved in the sport in the UK.
