Sydney Sweeney has said goodbye to her blonde locks to film the upcoming survival thriller Eden in Queensland, Australia.
On Monday, the Euphoria actress, 26 looked unrecognisable with her new brunette tresses as she filmed alongside her co-star Daniel Brühl on the Gold Coast.
The beauty sported a darker hair colour as she stepped into her role for the project – which is being directed by Ron Howard.
She also donned an olive-coloured ensemble that comprised of a belted jacket as well as shorts.
The star additionally slipped into a pair of knee-high socks and brown boots to complete the look.

Sydney was seen securing two wooden boxes on a donkey during the scenes, and in-between takes an assistant held a blue umbrella to help block the bright sunshine.
She also had her hair fixed and adjusted before stepping back in front of the camera.
The White Lotus star was joined by Brühl to film a scene with the animal, and The Alienist was seen wearing a similar ensemble as Sweeney.
Daniel has collaborated with Howard in the past, including on the 2013 film Rush.
The filmmaker has worked on a variety of movies in the past, including A Beautiful Mind (2001), How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), The Da Vinci Code (2006) and most recently Thirteen Lives (2022).
Along with Sydney and Daniel, the star-studded cast also includes Jude Law, Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby.

The premise ‘follows a group of people fuelled by a profound desire for change; in order to turn their back to society they leave everything behind and set their futures on the harsh landscape of the Galapagos,’ according to IMDB synopsis.
Producers on the thriller – which also includes Howard – informed Deadline last month in October that the film ‘explores the human condition in ways that are unexpected, absurd, humorous, sexy, but above all thrilling and deeply suspenseful.’
Both Sweeney and Kirby replaced actresses Daisy Edgar-Jones and Alicia Vikander who had initially been cast in the project.
Noah Pink has written the screenplay for Eden – which was originally titled: Origin Of Species.
According to Deadline, Hans Zimmer will score the film and this will be the composer’s 10th time collaborating with Ron Howard.
During an interview with Business News Australia earlier this month, Ron expressed his excitement to return to Queensland – which was where he also filmed Thirteen Lives.
‘I have always been impressed with the professionalism and creative spirit of the Australian film community,’ the filmmaker stated.
‘My experience with our Queensland crew on Thirteen Lives only confirmed that and more,’ he added. ‘I’m thrilled with the opportunity to bring Eden to Queensland and continue the collaboration.’

Last week, an Aussie man’s fantasy came true when he received a private message from Euphoria star, Sydney.
The blonde beauty messaged TikTok user Mileshep after he posted a video about seeing the American actress on a Gold Coast beach as she was coming out of the surf.
After the video went viral, Sweeney wrote to him ‘You should have said hello.’
Sharing a screenshot of the message with his followers, Mileshep said he then asked the White Lotus star out on a date.
‘Ahaha yeah well how about I take you out and i can say hi for real x,’ he said in his response.
Sadly he has not received a reply.
