The Apprentice has come under fire after it was reported one of its upcoming contestants shared ‘racist and sexist’ comments online.
Former RAF Levi Hague, 33, who is starring in the upcoming season of the entrepreneur show, shared the vile comments in a series of tweets in the early 2010s as he threw his support behind far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
Levi’s abhorrent posts saw him refer to Muslims as ‘dirty’, call women ‘s**gs’ and label seven police officers who arrested him back in 2012 as ‘pigs’.
In one tweet, Levi reportedly said: ‘Thank f*** that extremist dirty Muslim preacher getting took out of this country. Just a waste of money and waste of space. F*** off.’
The Sun on Sunday reported the tweets were visible on his X account until the publication spoke to the BBC. They were later removed.
In a grovelling apology, Hague said: ‘I am ashamed and embarrassed to have made these posts over a decade ago and I offer my sincere apologies to all who I’ve offended, as well as my fellow candidates, for the truly awful language and views that they contain.

‘I take full accountability for the publishing of those posts. They are not a reflection of the values I uphold today.’
Levi went on to say that he had not brought the account to the attention of The Apprentice producers during the vetting process.
The Daily Mail has contacted Levi for comment.
A BBC spokesperson told the Daily Mail: ‘We were completely unaware that this contestant had made such abhorrent comments.
‘We have asked the independent production company for further assurances on their social media checks given the process has not been completed to a satisfactory standard in this instance.
‘The views presented are totally unacceptable and we are taking this extremely seriously.’
It comes just days after ‘arrogant’ former NHS doctor and The Apprentice contestant Dr Asif Munaf was struck off over a series of antisemitic, racist and sexist social media comments.
He, 37, appeared in the 2024 BBC series before being axed from a spin-off show after a string of complaints about his conduct.

He failed to appear before a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing which heard details of the charges against him.
Asif – who also uses the name Mohammed – reposted comments on X, formerly Twitter, which claimed Israel had ‘forfeited any right to exist’, was a ‘Nazi state’ and that Zionists are not Jews but ‘today’s Nazis’, together with an image of a red flag with the Star of David above a swastika.
Other posts claimed that Jews ‘have no limits to their depravity’ are ‘sick in the head’ and are ‘born with an inherent ability to deceive’.
One post, in June 2025, read: ‘9/11 wasn’t an inside job. Let’s call it for what it really is. A Jewish job.’
There were further comments about an ‘inherent Jewish supremacy’, the Jewish ‘victim complex’ and Jews having ‘a genocidal impulse’.
Striking him off the medical register, a panel has now accused Dr Munif of an ‘arrogant disregard for patients and colleagues’ which displayed a ‘deep-seated and ongoing attitudinal issue’.
His posts and reposts, dating from 2023 to 2025, also included a racist slur to describe ex-world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather and claimed he’d been in contact with Israel Defence Forces.
Further comments were aimed at women, saying most men ‘cannot tell the difference between an asset and a liability’ and this was reason why many were ‘broke and miserable’.
Dr Munaf set up an online service which claimed to ‘beat the GP wait’ and provide sick notes ‘in as little as two hours’
Women ‘should not be pilots’, the doctor claimed.
Dr Munaf also commented: ‘Female “empowerment” is one of the great tricks of Satan.
‘Islam gives us the blueprint. When will the world wake up?’
Last year The Apprentice was embroiled in another race row as contestant Jana Denzel quit the show after being reprimanded by producers for describing a black person as ‘coloured’.
The Harley Street dentist had been part of a team on the BBC reality show creating a character for a marketing campaign when he is understood to have used the phrase.
Two women on his team were said to have been particularly upset by the comment, which was reported to show bosses who then made him undergo diversity training.
Dr Denzel, who has spoken of pride at his Sri Lankan heritage and refugee parents, sat in on talks with producers to ensure he understood the remark was offensive.
The contestant’s exit was first revealed a fortnight ago on February 13, but was finally shown to millions of viewers in Lord Sugar’s show on BBC One last night.
However the BBC insisted that the departure was not related to the comment, which was not broadcast during the episode. And Dr Jana said he was leaving because he felt the other contestants wanted to win the £250,000 investment more than him.
Speaking about the racism row, a show source told The Sun earlier this month: ‘The team had been discussing what the character should look like, and there were suggestions from some members to make sure the character was inclusive.
‘It was then that Jana made the “coloured comment”, which particularly upset two female candidates on his team.’
‘While his co-stars did push back and make it clear to Jana the comment was unacceptable, it was then escalated further when it was flagged to the production team, who pulled Jana aside.’
