Charli XCX and The 1975’s George Daniel are engaged.
The Boom Clap singer, 31, announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday evening, captioning her post: ‘Charli xcx and george f***ing for life!’
She shared a carousel of images. including a romantic snap of George, 33, dipping her while the pair shared a kiss.
In another picture, Charli showed off her diamond engagement ring in a box between two cups of tea.
The pair first sparked dating rumours in March 2022 when they were spotted holding hands on a stroll through New York City.

Her record label, Atlantic Records, took to Twitter to confirm the news, writing: ‘Major congratulations to @charli_xcx and George Daniel on their engagement.’
The couple were soon congratulated by their celebrity friends, as 1975 frontman Matty Healy wrote: ‘I cry.’
Meanwhile New Rules singer Dua Lipa added: ‘aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ congratulations lovebirds!!!!!’
And Rita Ora said: ‘How did I just know this was gona happen. Yesssss ❤️’
