Stacey Solomon shared nostalgic snaps from 2016 and gushed about meeting her husband Joe Swash and ‘falling in love’.

The TV personality, 36, posted a carousel of heartwarming photos to Instagram on Friday as part of a viral trend where people share their lives from a decade ago.

The sweet images showed her and Joe, 43, sunbathing, which she sweetly captioned ‘the year I fell in love’, while others showed her children and her appearance on The Chase.

Stacey penned: ‘No because truly the 2016 trend makes me feel like I have had a previous life, why does 10 years feel like a lifetime ago.

‘Also HOW DID I WIN THE CHASE. And genuinely still to this day none of us know what Joe Swash dressed up as for Halloween 2016.

‘Hope these make you smile as much as they did me while I was looking through them!’

It comes as the fate of Stacey and Joe’s reality show has been revealed after a string of explosive rows which left fans open-mouthed.

Stacey & Joe hit BBC One back in April and was followed by a second series in September 2025.

Fans will be very happy to know that it could be back on our screens very soon.

A TV insider told The Sun: ‘There’s a definite hunger for these celebrity-based At Home With. . . style shows, with both Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy also getting their versions.

‘But Stacey, with hubby Joe, is blazing a trail.’

Back in May Stacey had reportedly regretted agreeing to take part in her reality TV series, after the show was met by criticism.

Stacey and Joe have been insistent on showing both the ups and the downs, explaining that they weren’t ‘trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle’.

However, according to The Sun, the TV presenter had some serious regrets about being so open, following some negative reactions from viewers.

A source said at the time: ‘Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.’

It is alleged that Stacey is concerned about how she and Joe are coming across in their arguments, with Joe’s lack of time management and ADHD struggles clashing with Stacey’s love of extreme organisation.

A friend told the publication: ‘She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown up’. It’s caused friction.’

One episode saw Stacey devastated by Joe not showing up at an important meeting, leaving her juggling caring for the babies while trying to plan the launch of her own perfume.

Speaking to OK! ahead of their show, Stacey and Joe revealed viewers will get to witness them arguing on camera, explaining it was important to them not to cut out rows like other couples would be tempted to.

Joe said: ‘So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It’s our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It’s not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.’

While Stacey added: ‘What you see is what you get. What we’ve learnt about each other is that we’re not a perfect couple. We’ve never said we’re a perfect couple, but you get to watch yourself back, which is something that doesn’t happen often.’
