Lo Bosworth, who starred on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and its spin-off The Hills, joyously announced the birth of her first daughter this week.
The 39-year-old welcomed her little girl with her husband Dom Natale, an athlete-turned-investor she married last July after his proposal that January.
She went public with her pregnancy a few days after their intimate wedding, where she had worn a bridal gown that accentuated her blossoming baby bump.
This Thursday, she posted to Instagram to share with her fans that she had delivered her little girl and named her after her own mother.
Bosworth crowed: ‘our girl Nelle is here,’ adding: ‘She started the year by surprising us two weeks early, but really, she was right on time.’
Her message was accompanied by a heart-melting photo of her swaddled newborn, as well as a picture of the new parents at the hospital prior to delivery.Â

Natale and Bosworth both placed their hands gently on the baby bump in the pre-birth photo, which showed the then-expectant mother already in her hospital gown.
In her caption, Bosworth wrote that her ‘teeny one is named for her Oma [the Dutch word for grandmother] and already so loved. More to come! Love, The Natale Family.’
Bosworth was a 17-year-old high school senior when she was plucked from obscurity and catapulted to reality stardom on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2004.
The MTV reality show was ultimately spun off into The Hills, which became an even splashier cultural phenomenon and also featured Bosworth.
Amid a cast including Kristin Cavallari, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Lauren Conrad, Bosworth was one of the high-octane glamour figures of the early years of reality TV.
Conrad was among the well-wishers who flocked to Bosworth’s Instagram this week to congratulate her on her baby’s birth, gushing in the comments: ‘Welcome to the world sweet girl!! So happy for you you guys.’Â
Since the end of The Hills in 2010, Bosworth has stayed off reality TV and veered into a career as a YouTuber with her own beauty channel.
Although she evidently remained friends with Conrad, she kept her distance from the the MTV franchise that shot them both to fame.

When she was asked in 2018 to return to the network for the ultimately short-lived reboot The Hills: New Beginnings, Bosworth sharply declined.
‘I was like: “F*** no!” I don’t want any association with those people,’ she said at the time on an episode of her podcast Lady Lovin’.Â
‘I think that there were some people on the show that have gone on to great success and we’re friends and I’m happy for them. There are others that I probably never would have in my life unless we worked together at one point.’
She met her husband ‘a few years’ ago by declaring herself single on Instagram, prompting Natale’s sisters to message her privately about their brother.
‘His family set us up,’ Bosworth shared last July, during an appearance on the A Better Way to Money podcast by Northwestern Mutual.
Natale proposed last January, and the couple then indulged in what Bosworth called a ‘spur-of-the-moment engagement party’ at a dive bar.

‘I’m about four months pregnant,’ she told People in late July: ‘and before starting our fertility journey we thought about a big, New York City wedding.’
Bosworth explained: ‘Once our family plans got underway however, we changed course to something we knew would be perfect if I was lucky enough to get pregnant: an intimate wedding with our closest family members enjoyed at home. We could take off our shoes, stretch out, enjoy great food and the beautiful decor and relax.’
