Sophie Turner is seen for the first time as Lara Croft in Amazon’s Tomb Raider TV series.
The actress, 29, is the latest to take on the role following two films starring Angelina Jolie and another by Alicia Vikander.
The series, which is currently in production, is an adaptation of the classic video game franchise.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Amazon MGM Studios unveiled a first-look photo of the actress in character as the legendary video game hero.
In the snap, Sophie channelled Lara’s signature look of black shorts and a green tank top.
She also sported a leather backpack, aviator sunglasses and a braided ponytail.

Alongside the post, the account wrote: ‘Get your artifacts out. Lara’s on her way.’
It comes after Sophie revealed she had been training for a year for her new role in the series.
Speaking to ScreenRant, she said: ‘I can’t say much, but my preparation began in February [2025].
‘I’ve been training for a long time now, coming up on a year, and we’re going to start shooting in January.
‘I’m really excited, but I feel prepped, and I feel really lucky to have such a great relationship with Amazon, and I’m excited for the world to see what we do with Lara and Tomb Raider. I think it’s going to be something special.’
Leading lady Sophie will play an ordinary office worker who is caught in the middle of a massive criminal operation.
She joins the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs in the video game adaptation.
All six episodes will premiere on January 21 on Amazon Prime.

The story follows Zara (Sophie), a low-level employee at the pension fund investment company Lochmill Capital.
Her mundane workday is violently disrupted when an armed gang takes over the office and forces her and her best friend, Luke, to siphon off billions of pounds in ordinary people’s pensions.
The episodes are directed by Sam Miller (I May Destroy You) and Hettie Macdonald (Normal People).
Elsewhere, Sophie has also revealed she hasn’t been on a date ‘in weeks’ following a short-lived ‘romance’ with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
She reflected on her ‘hard twenties’ as she prepares to enter a new chapter of her life.
While opening up about juggling work and being a mum to daughters Willa, five, and Delphine, three, whom she shares with Joe, Sophie admitted she hasn’t been on the dating scene.
The Daily Mail revealed that the Game Of Thrones actress went on a ‘secret date’ with the singer, 48, after she and Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson called it quits after nearly two years together.
Speaking to NET-A-PORTER’S digital title PORTER, Sophie said: ‘I just want to have some peace in my thirties.
‘I feel like it’s been really hectic for a long time and I’m ready to not have that anymore. Just settle a bit. We’ll see if that happens.’
