Timothy Busfield has officially been dropped from his talent agency following his arrest on child sex abuse charges this week.

The 68-year-old actor – who is married to Little House On The Prairie alum Melissa Gilbert – was let go from Innovative Artists on Wednesday after he surrendered to police in New Mexico one day earlier, per Deadline

Busfield is known for starring in a number of projects in Hollywood including Thirtysomething and The West Wing.

The star is facing felony charges including two counts of sexually assaulting twin boys, and a newly-filed charge involving a 16-year-old female victim.

Busfield made his first appearance in court on Wednesday in New Mexico wearing an orange jumpsuit as he stood in front of a judge.

Gilbert – who ‘supports her husband’ amid the shocking charges – was not seen inside the courtroom at the time.

Last week, an arrest warrant was issued for Busfield for charges of child abuse and criminal sexual contact with a minor.

However, the actor has since denied the allegations – labeling them as ‘lies’ and vowed to fight the charges in a video to TMZ.

‘I will confront these lies. I did not do anything to those little boys,’ he told the outlet.

Busfield has been accused of inappropriately touching two young boys in 2022 on set of the crime drama series The Cleaning Lady which he was directing.

He then continued, ‘I was ordered to come to Albuquerque, and well, I’m here now. I got the call Friday night, I had to get a lawyer, and on Saturday I got a car and drove 2,000 miles to Albuquerque.’

The star once again called the allegations lies and said, ‘I did not do anything.’

Busfield told TMZ, ‘I’m gonna fight it with a great team, and I know I’m going to be exonerated. I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies.’

Following his arrest, he is being at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Bernalillo County, per documents obtained by The Daily Mail.
