Andrew Garfield looked nearly unrecognizable as he debuted a dramatic hairstyle change.

The 42-year-old actor was pictured with a major change in his appearance while enjoying a date night with his girlfriend, actress Monica Barbaro.

In an Instagram photo shared by Penn & Teller, he and Barbaro, 35, posed backstage with the stars following their performance at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last weekend. 

He was seen with a longer, much shaggier hairstyle and had also dyed his hair blonde after years of rocking his natural brunette quiff. 

Several months ago, he had also sparked plastic surgery rumors after he had fans doing a double take at his seemingly different appearance while filming a new flick on a movie set. 

Last summer, he had started the process of changing up his signature hairstyle as he showcased his curls after letting his hair grow out longer than he had it in the past.

During his latest appearance and after ringing in the new year, he was seem with hair almost down to his chin and wore a blue baseball cap over his light blond waves.

The official social media account for the magician-comedian duo Penn Fraser Jillette and Raymond Joseph Teller wrote in the caption of the post: ‘Great to have #andrewgarfield and @monicabarbaro at the show @riovegas over the weekend!’ 

To watch Penn and Teller’s long-running headlining show in Sin City, he sported a mustard yellow, fleece sweatshirt layered over a casual T-shirt and dark pants.

His girlfriend, an Oscar-nominated actress who starred in A Complete Unknown and Top Gun: Maverick, wore a low-cut, cream-colored blouse with an unfastened scarf around her neck.

She also seemingly changed up her hairstyle as she transformed her long, dark tresses into a collarbone-length bob that she straightened.  

The photo showed the couple beaming as they stood beside the performers.

Garfield stood in between Penn and Teller and had his arms wrapped around their shoulders. 

This comes as the pair approach their one-year dating anniversary as they were first romantically linked in February 2025. 

Early last year, the pair were seen at a play together, and just shortly thereafter, a source confirmed to People that they were dating.

He also sported longer curls with a intentionally messy hairstyle at last August’s Venice International Film Festival, but he had not yet dyed his hair yet. While attending the After the Hunt premiere, he and Barbaro also made their red carpet debut as a couple

After sparking romance rumors in February, they were spotted holding hands and kissing at the Glastonbury Festival. 

In the summer of 2025, the couple publicly confirmed their romance while attending Wimbledon as they showed off their coordinating white outfits and held hands at a tennis match in July. 

The following month, Garfield and Barbaro walked the red carpet together at the Venice Film Festival premiere of his new drama film After the Hunt.
