The 40-year-old actress – who penned an essay for The Cut to reveal why she left the mom group she had been in – jumped to her Instagram stories on Tuesday to offer her fans a glimpse at the ‘best treat.’

In text added towards the bottom of the image, the former Disney channel star penned, ‘Unreal! @sarahchase thank you for the best treat.’

The group consists of a number of stars including Duff and Moore. Meghan Trainor has been rumored to also be a part of the group – but she recently insisted that she is not in it.

Duff had created the group and the friends will often message each other, go on vacations, have shared play dates and attend baby classes together.

Tisdale claimed in the article that she had felt ‘frozen out’ by the group during her postpartum period.

She is mom to Jupiter, four, and Emerson, one, whom she shares with husband Christopher French.

While the High School Musical actress did not list any names in the story, fans were quick to point out that she unfollowed both Duff and Moore on Instagram around the time of the article’s release.

Tisdale wrote that she had been left out from some gatherings and added, ‘All of a sudden I was in high school again, feeling totally lost as to what I was doing “wrong” to be left out.’

She continued, ‘I texted to the group after being left out from yet another group hang: “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

‘To be clear I have never considered the moms to be bad people (maybe one) but I do think our group dynamic stopped being healthy and positive – for me anyway.’

Tisdale had posted about the group over the years, such as in 2022 when they enjoyed a girls trip with Duff, Trainor and others.

‘Moms weekend away! I love being surrounded by these ladies. What an amazing group of women to journey through this mom-hood together! So grateful for this trip.’ she had shared at the time.

Moore recently opened up about the backlash following Tisdale’s essay for The Cut on Wednesday’s episode of them Conversations With Cam podcast.

‘Do you feel like you have seen friendships, sort of, take a different course?’ the This Is Us star asked the host.

Moore went on to explain that she has been drifting towards friends that have kids in the same age group as her own.

‘I have friends who have kids that are older, and I have found that the people I’m closest with in my life right now are people who are at the same chapter of their lives as parents. Like, we have kids the same age.’

She added, ‘I’ve had to sort of mourn in a way, not the loss of those friendships, but how they’ve changed.’

The podcast host then told Moore that ‘you’re going to be more in contact with people who are your [kids’] exact age.’

The star is mom to August, four, and Oscar, three, and daughter Louise, 15 months – whom she shares with husband Taylor Goldsmith.

‘I just assumed all of these relationships would continue to … not that they don’t serve me, but, they wouldn’t be the first people I would reach out to right now when I’m like, “Gus has changed his mind seven times about what he wants to be for Halloween.”‘

Duff’s husband recently stepped in to defend her as he called out ‘self obsessed and tone deaf’ Tisdale.

On Instagram, he shared a fake headline which read ‘When You’re the Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person on Earth, Other Moms Tend to Shift Focus to Their Actual Toddlers.’

He then photoshopped his own head onto Tisdale’s body in a move to recreate an image shared by The Cut.

A smaller headline could also be seen and read: ‘A Mom Group Tell All Through A Father’s Eye.’

Moore previously broke her silence on the drama as she reposted an Instagram story shared by Koma which showed her performing at a benefit concert on the one-year anniversary of the Pacific Palisades fire.

She then added, ‘This feels incredibly fitting as @matthewkoma happens to be one [of] the most talented and generous humans I’m lucky to know.’

The actress then gave a shout out by writing, ‘he literally gave my family a place to stay one year ago today when we evacuated.’

It also comes after Duff’s sister Haylie – whom she is rumored to be estranged with – liked an Instagram post promoting Tisdale’s now-viral essay for The Cut.
