In a video shared on Instagram, a very nervous Steph admitted she was ‘in a sweat’ while waiting for the Weird! singer to arrive for their interview.
The mother-of-two, who recently turned 31, blushed when Yungblud entered the studio with a chocolate birthday cake for the brunette beauty and called her ‘babe’.
‘Hi Babe, how you doing? I got you a little cake, I heard it’s your birthday,’ he said, handing over the gift.
Gushing with excitement, a flustered Steph then received the first of several hugs from the rocker.

The performer hugged her again after Steph told him it was ‘nice to meet you’.
As the podcast kicked off, she tried to compose herself and announced, ‘Everything’s recording, cos I’m dying.’
‘They say not to meet your idols in case they disappoint… well, that’s not the case for @yungblud I assure you,’ Steph wrote in the caption alongside the clip.
‘I had the opportunity to sit down with him during his stay here in Melbourne and chat to him for the pod.’
Fans filled the message board with cheeky comments after the amusing clip was shared to Instagram.
‘Omg I would literally die! Came soo close to him in the crowd last night and almost passed away,’ one follower posted, while another added, ‘JEALOUS!’
A third person said: ‘I wanna cry, it’s so sweet.’
During a trip Down Under, Yungblud also showed off his perfect Australian accent.

The performer appeared on the Today Show on Tuesday and stunned the show’s host as he demonstrated his prowess at nailing the local twang.
‘I hit Bondi and everyone was like, “F***ing hell bro. Are you here? Taking a morning swim, Yungblud?”‘ the singer said in a clear Aussie accent.
‘I love the f***ing accent. I bloody love it. Gotta do it,’ he told Today’s very impressed host.
Today Show viewers were stunned at how accurate the Englishman’s Australian accent was, with many sharing their thoughts on TikTok.
‘Visa approved,’ wrote one person in the comments section, while another said, ‘He needs to move here. Already knows our culture.’
‘That’s outstanding,’ someone else said, with one more person adding, ‘Just move here!’
Another commented: ‘He’s already a skippy in my book.’
