Bikini-clad Maya Jama has shared a glimpse at her ‘wholesome’ downtime holed up in Cape Town.

The Love Island All Stars, 31, has had unexpected chill time in South Africa this week after the upcoming season was postponed due to wildfires.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Maya shared a snippet of what she’s been up to – as well as showing off her sensational figure in a mirror clip.

Maya displayed her toned stomach in a skimpy black triangle bikini, featuring bejewelled lining, from brand Hunza G.

Elsewhere Maya filmed a video as she strolled throw her ‘new home’ Cape Town, revealing she feels like she knows everyone there now as she has been coming back for four years.

‘It’s been four years I’ve been coming here so I do feel a bit like a local. I’ve been strutting around, popping into all the shops and saying “Hey I’m back”,’ she said.

Maya shared that she has rented a bike in South Africa and has been jetting around Cape Town in the days she has had off.

She captioned the video: ‘Love you all wholesome as heck over here. But will try post a bit more when we’re in the swing of it all.’

Maya shared an update with fans on the dating show on Monday after ITV bosses were forced to postpone Love Island: All Star’s launch.

She took to her Instagram Stories while holed up in her luxury villa waiting for filming to commence.

The snap showed the property’s luscious green lawns and clear blue sky, suggesting perhaps the show would be back sooner rather than later.

Filming for the new series had been due to kick off at the weekend, but these plans have been pushed back after wildfires raged in areas close to the villa.

ITV announced over the weekend that the launch had been postponed, a statement shared on Instagram on Monday night said they were still waiting to confirm the new return date.

It comes following reports that bosses hope to kickstart filming for the new series on Wednesday, but an air date is still yet to be decided.

The statement read: ‘Just a reminder that the Love Island launch show has been delayed due to wild fires near the villa in South Africa.

‘Everyone is safe though and we’re working on bringing you an iconic series, so keep an eye on our socials and we’ll let you know the new launch date as soon as we can.’

The show’s launch was scheduled for Monday evening but has been delayed after filming couldn’t start over the weekend due to dangerous wildfires.

Earlier on Monday, The Sun reported that it’s hoped filming can finally begin on Wednesday, with a return date yet to be decided.

The delay is reportedly costing ITV over £15,000 an hour because of commitments to crew, staff, camera operators and psychologists, all of whom are on the ground in South Africa awaiting their duties.

Maya flew out last week ahead of the programme’s start, with 12 confirmed Islanders, including Millie Court and Tommy Bradley, staying in high-end accommodations, along with a number of ‘bombshells’ who are yet to be announced.

On Sunday Maya shared a string of sizzling bikini snaps to Instagram,as she posed up a storm while sunbathing in her villa.

The stunner soaked up the sun while sitting poolside, as like many of this year’s Love Island stars, she waited for the all-clear to begin filming for the new series.

Hinting that like many fans she was impatiently waiting for the series to kick off, Maya captioned her post with a clock emoji. Filming for the new series was pushed back indefinitely after local reports have revealed emergency workers battled through the night again to bring things under control in the area of Wemmershoek.

A source told The Sun: ‘Bosses have no choice but to wait for the area to be deemed completely safe.

‘The desire is to be back as soon as possible but risk and health and safety assessments are still ongoing.’
