Rose Byrne landed her first ever Golden Globe award on Sunday night.
And the NSW Department of Education paid tribute to the Australian actress on Tuesday by sharing a throwback photo of her time attending local Sydney schools.
In the image, which was shared on Facebook, the 46-year-old is a fresh-faced young pupil and looks to be in her tweens or early teens.
‘A huge congrats to Balmain Public School, Hunters Hill High School and Bradfield Senior College alumna Rose Byrne for her Golden Globe win!’ the caption read.
There was plenty of support for the beloved homegrown star in the comments below the image.

Rose scored a major career win on Monday after taking home a Golden Globe for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
The Bridesmaids star was visibly shocked by the win and admitted she hadn’t prepared a speech as she took to the stage to accept her statue at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
‘Thanks to my husband Bobby. He isn’t here because we’re getting a bearded dragon, and he went to a reptile expo in New Jersey,’ she said.
She then thanked the producers of the movie – while joking about its relatively modest budget.
‘I didn’t prepare anything, but – I didn’t sing in this movie, guys. Thank you so much my fellow nominees, I just can’t believe I’m here,’ Rose said.

Rose beat out some strong competition for the award, including Cynthia Erivo for Wicked For Good and Kate Hudson for Song Sung Blue.
The actress and Bobby Cannavale have been together since 2012 and according to Marie Claire, are not married ‘legally’ but always refer to each other in public as ‘husband and wife’.
They welcomed their first child, a son, Rocco, in 2016. Their second son, Rafa, was born in 2017.
