There are three things certain in life – death, taxes, and celebrities making headlines with an explosive feud.
Yet while the relationship between Hollywood stars can be frosty, there are some spats that have come seemingly out of the blue.
Just this week, Jodie Marsh raised eyebrows when she launched an extraordinary rant at The Jam legend Paul Weller after she tried to flog his memorabilia in an online auction to raise funds for Fripps Farm.
After the former glamour model, 47, told her followers a Paul Weller gold disc, signed posters and concert tickets were up for auction, his official X page uploaded a post to say they aren’t endorsed by him.
The tweet from Paul’s profile on X, said: ‘Paul wants it known that a recent auction that has gone live for competition prizes and memorabilia is not official and not endorsed by him’.
Jodie, who gives a home to 400 rescued animals at the Essex sanctuary, took to Instagram to hit out at the musician, 67, and accuse him of ‘disassociating himself because I’m friends with Nigel Farage’.

Just this week, glamour model Jodie Marsh raised eyebrows when she launched an extraordinary rant at The Jam legend Paul Weller
In the now deleted post, she said: ‘Hi guys, just a quick one. Paul Weller has got the hump because I’m friends with Nigel Farage so he’s disassociated himself from the auction.
‘That’s fine. It’s a shame we can’t just all get along and have our own opinions and our own friends and just respect each other’s choices. I think that’s very sad. But I can assure you the auction is real.
‘He doesn’t want to publicly support something, that’s absolutely fine. It’s just very disappointing from somebody you’ve done nothing but promote, support and adore for years.
‘I think some people care too much about their image rather than what’s real in life and what matters.
‘I think it’s a real shame because Paul has done a lot of work supporting Gaza but doesn’t want to publicly support something much closer to home. It’s a real shame.’
Paul is actively involved in supporting Gaza through fundraising concerts, such as the 2025 ‘Gig for Gaza’ to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and Gaza Forever.
Jodie went on to claim the memorabilia was official, owned by Paul’s later father John who was the singer’s manager and put up for auction with the support of Nicky Weller.
The television personality said Fripps Farm really needed donations to help support the animals.
So, who else has been involved in a surprising feud?
Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj
Things came to a head between Miley and Nicki during the VMAs in 2015 when the rapper used her moment on stage to address Miley directly after she commented on her in the press
Miley and Nicki found themselves caught up in a televised showdown back in 2015, off the back of the rapper’s beef with Taylor Swift.
The Flowers popstar, who was 22 at the time, inserted herself into the conversation by telling the New York Times: ‘There’s a way to talk to people.’
‘What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj, is not too kind. It’s not very polite. I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love.’
Things then came to a head when during the VMAs Nicki took to the stage to accept her award as she used the moment to address Miley directly.
She asked: ‘And now… back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley, what’s good?’ as she finished her acceptance speech.
When the cameras cut to Miley, who was hosting the show, she seemed briefly surprised by Nicki’s outburst but recovered quickly with a calm response.
‘Hey, we are all in this industry and we all do interviews and say s–t. Nicki, congratuf–kinglations!’ the outspoken pop star said.
Not quite done, Nicki mouthed ‘Don’t play with me, b***h’ before leaving the stage.
She asked Miley, who was hosting: ‘And now… back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me in the press. Miley, what’s good?’ as she finished her acceptance speech
And four years later Nicki still hadn’t let it go after she insulted Miley during her appearance on the Queen Radio show.
‘Perdue chickens can never talk s**t about queens,’ Nicki said about Miley while referring to herself as royalty.
‘She disrespected me in a magazine article for no reason.
‘I had just seen her after she sucked Mike WiLL’s d**k in the studio,’ Nicki alleged about Miley, who worked with the producer and songwriter on her 2013 album Bangerz.
Nicki then threw another jab at Miley‘s Black Mirror character Ashley O, saying, ‘Now you coming out with pink wigs, all you b*****s wanna be Nicki.’
The tirade of insults came in response to Miley singing the line, ‘I love you Nicki but I listen to Cardi,’ in her new song Cattitude.
In reference to the lyrics, Miley said that she wasn’t choosing sides in the high-drama Cardi-Nicki feud and that she’s a fan of both of them.
‘Anytime you want to feel powerful and strong, that’s my go-to, Cardi and Nicki,’ Miley said.
Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Dwayne Johnson’s feud with Vin Dieselbegan after the duo worked together a decade ago on the Fast Five film, which is part of the Fast and Furious franchise (pictured in F&F5 2011)
Dwayne Johnson’s feud with Vin Diesel began after the duo worked together a decade ago on the Fast Five film, which is part of the Fast and Furious franchise.
The actor called Vin a ‘candy a**’ in a 2016 Facebook post that went viral while filming The Fate of The Furious.
‘Some [male co-stars] conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es,’ he began.
‘When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling—you’re right,’ he said.
While Dwayne later deleted the post, he seemed to allude to a reconciliation, posting a few days later, ‘Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs.
The actors were not seen together in any press tours or any scenes in the actual movie itself.
Dwayne seemed to have buried the hatchet with Vin in 2019, stating in an Instagram post, ‘Lastly, but not least, want to thank brother Vin for your support of Hobbs & Shaw.’
However, a few years later when Vin said he was simply giving Dwayne some ‘tough love,’ Dwayne made it clear he was not returning to the franchise at that time, though he’d seemingly later have a change of heart.
‘I laughed and I laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that. And that I’ve wished them well,’ Johnson said.
Dwayne has said previously that he doesn’t regret what he said, only that he took the spat public: ‘I meant what I said’.
Their beef resulted in Dwayne essentially leaving the main franchise, moving on to film the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw with Jason Statham.
Britney Spears and Alyssa Milano
In December 2022, Alyssa questioned Britney’s well-being on social media after the singer returned to Instagram following a brief hiatus
‘This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!’, Britney hit back in her own social media post underneath a screenshot of Alyssa’s original Tweet
In December 2022, Alyssa questioned Britney’s well-being on social media after the singer returned to Instagram following a brief hiatus.
‘Someone please go check on Britney Spears’, the actress tweeted at the time.
Soon after her tweet, Britney took to her Instagram to call out the Charmed star for her ‘bullying’.
‘It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!’ the singer wrote underneath a screenshot of the original Tweet.
‘Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down!!!’ Spears added.
A month after the online spat, Alyssa’s representative told TMZ the star ‘reached out to Britney privately’ – with the actress ‘expressing support’ for the singer in the message.
Will Smith and Chris Rock
Will Smith punching Chris Rock at the Oscars left the audience and viewers at home in a state of shock
Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars left the audience and viewers at home in a state of shock – but it’s not the first time that the movie star has been antagonised by the comedian.
In fact, a feud has been brewing between the pair over the past five years thanks to repeated jokes made at Will’s expense.
When hosting the Oscars back in 2016, Chris got himself into trouble with the actor when he used Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith as joke material in his opening monologue.
In an opening bit about diversity, Chris poked fun at Jada, who he has worked with in the animated movie franchise Madagascar, for boycotting the Oscars when Will failed to receive a nomination for the movie Concussion.
‘Jada got mad, said she’s not coming. Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited,’ Chris said.
‘You get mad. It’s not fair that Will was this good and didn’t get nominated. It’s also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for Wild Wild West.’
‘This year at the Oscars, things are going to be a little different. In the ‘in memoriam’ package it’s just going to be black people who were shot by the cops on their way to the movies. Yes, I said it, all right?’
Following the dig, TMZ had approached Will for comment but he remain silent and refused to answer.
In his 2016 opening monologue about diversity, Chris, 57, poked fun at Jada, 50, for boycotting the Oscars when Will failed to receive a nomination for Concussion (pictured in 2016)
Chris previously made fun of Jada when he hosted the Oscars in 2016
But the jibes from Chris didn’t stop there. Adding further fire to their beef, in 2018 Chris posted a controversial comment about the actor on social media that made light of his previous marriage.
Will had posted a photo wishing his ex-wife Sheree Zampino a very happy birthday, and Chris posted a remark that went viral.
‘Happy Bday, @shereezampino. #BestBabyMamaEver! 🙂 I Love You, Ree-Ree,’ Will wrote alongside a photo of Sheree and their son Trey.
Chris then commented: ‘Wow. You have a very understanding wife.’
Sheree then responded to Chris, replying: ‘Don’t hate.’
The exchange hit headlines at the time, considering Chris had targeted Jada and Will during the Oscars in 2016.
It seemed Will had finally enough after Chris made a ‘G.I. Jane’ joke about Jada’s shaven head haircut at the 2022 Oscars. Jada has been open about her struggle with hair loss due to alopecia.
During the Oscars, Will, visibly emotional, walked back to his seat after slapping Chris and shouted: ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.’
After the incident, Will and Jada reportedly held hands throughout the ceremony.
Henry Winkler and Tom Hanks

Hollywood nice guys Tom Hanks and Henry Winkler have rumored to be feuding for three decades.
The feud reportedly began during the Barry star’s 13 day stint as the director of the Forrest Gump star’s movie Turner & Hooch, the 1989 classic about a canine/detective crime-fighting combo.
Henry was reportedly canned from the project after less than two-weeks due to ‘creative differences.’
He was replaced by Roger Spottiswoode, who also directed The 6th Day with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Recalling his dismissal with People in 1993, Henry said: ‘I was called into [producer] Jeffrey Katzenberg’s office and he said, “You have everything with you? Go home.’
And during the 2020 Golden Globe Awards Henry was seen making a sour face while Tom was being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
Just days after, the Emmy-winner approached by TMZ and said: ‘I don’t have a feud with Tom Hanks. What everybody says and what is true are two different things.’
Hilarie Burton and Candace Cameron Bure
Candace Cameron Bure (pictured) has found herself pulled into a number of public clashes over the years – including with Hilarie Burton
Meanwhile Hilarie (pictured) blasted Candace as a ‘bigot’in 2022, over her Great American Family channel
Candace Cameron Bure has found herself pulled into a number of public clashes over the years – including with JoJo Siwa, Hilarie Burton, Raven-Symone, and Scheana Shay – often sparked by her outspoken conservative Christian views.
Meanwhile Hilarie blasted Candace as a ‘bigot’ in 2022, over her Great American Family channel.
‘Bigot,’ Hilarie tweeted. ‘I don’t remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. But sure. Make your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank,’ she wrote.
She went on to slam her as ‘disgusting’ in another Tweet, while also taking aim at Bill Abbott, the chief executive at Great American Media.
‘Now they’re just openly admitting their bigotry,’ Burton wrote. ‘I called this s**t out years ago when Abbott was at Hallmark. Glad they dumped him. Being LGBTQ isn’t a “trend.”
‘That guy and his network are disgusting. You too Candy. There is nothing untraditional about same-sex couples.’
Two days later, Candace appeared to respond via an Instagram video, referencing ‘those who hate what I value and who are attacking me online’ and ‘those who have tried to assassinate my character’ though she did not refer to Hilarie by name.
Nicki Minaj and Latto
In 2022, Nikki and Latto went at it on social media after the rapper took to Twitter to complain about her single Super Freaky Girl being moved from a rap to pop category at the Grammys
In 2022, Nikki and Latto went at it on social media after the Anaconda rapper took to Twitter to complain about her single Super Freaky Girl being moved from a rap to pop category at the Grammy Awards.
After initially lambasting the Grammy’s decision, the rapper and singer appeared to bring Latto into the discussion when she claimed that her song Big Energy should also have been moved to the pop category.
The tweet launched a back-and-forth between the two artists that quickly escalated, with Latto poking fun at Nicki’s age and pointing out that her husband Kenneth Petty previously pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted rape in the 1990s.
Nicki’s complaints about the Recording Acadmy began on Twitter and with a video she posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
She brought Latto into her grievances with her initial tweet, which referenced the rising rapper’s song Big Energy: ‘I have no problem being moved out of the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY. If SFG has 2B moved then so does “Big Energy”! ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or troll.’
In her Instagram video, she suggested she was being set up to fail by being nominated alongside such disparate artists as ‘Adele and Harry Styles.’
‘They stay moving the goalposts when it comes to me, because in order for them to uplift the people who they want to shine,’ she said. ‘The people who these corporate giants can make the money off of; the people who control a lot of things behind the scenes — they have to elevate someone that they profit off. They must move the goalposts for me, all the time.’
She added, ‘What do you think is gonna happen when they start voting on these pop categories and its a bunch of these people … white and older, wherever they’re from,’ to have to choose between her and stars such as Adele and Harry Styles.’
Nicki also added in the video that Super Freaky Girl and Big Energy shared the same producers, which she saw as more evidence that both songs should have been considered pop if either of them were.
Latto was initially defiant and focused on her own success after noticing Nicki’s tweet about her song.
‘Damn, I can’t win for losing,’ she tweeted, though she didn’t mention Nicki’s name or posts. ‘All these awards/noms I can’t even celebrate.’
In a since-deleted tweet, Nicki snapped back and called Latto a ‘Karen’ while suggesting the younger rapper was ungrateful to an idol.
‘This Karen has probably mentioned my name in over 100 interviews,’ she wrote. ‘Says she waited in line for Pink Friday with her Barbie chain on, bangs, pink hair…but today, scratch off decides to be silent; rather than speak up for the Black woman she called her biggest inspiration.’
The two apparently messaged each other behind the scenes, with Latto being the first to get in contact, but that wasn’t enough for Nicki (real name: Onika Maraj–Petty), who was upset that Latto didn’t defend her publicly.
But Latto (real name: Alyssa Stephens) didn’t enjoy Nicki singling out her song, and she accused the Super Bass rapper of subtweeting her, or criticising her on Twitter without using her name.
‘I didn’t wanna do Internet s*** w. sum1 I looked up to,’ she wrote. ‘Just like the 1st time I DMed u asking about ur ongoing subtweets. I wanted to speak up cuz like I said I do agree but the way u going about it seems malicious.’
‘1st of all I texted u cause I didn’t wanna do Internet s*** w. sum1 I looked up to,’ Latto replied, adding, ‘Just like the 1st time I DMed u asking about ur ongoing subtweets. I wanted to speak up cuz like I said I do agree but the way u going about it seems malicious.’
Doja Cat and Noah Schnapp
Back in 2022 Doja slammed then 17-year-old actor Noah, for posting their private messages online, telling her followers the move was ‘snake s**t’ (pictured in 2025)

Back in 2022 Doja slammed then 17-year-old actor Noah, for posting their private messages online, telling her followers the move was ‘snake s**t’.
The DM that Noah, who plays Will Byers in Stranger Things, showed the songstress asking was: ‘Noah can u tell Joseph [Quinn] to hmu. wait no. does he have a gf?’
He responded, ‘LMAOO slide into his dms,’ but she said, ‘idk his IG or twitter he doesn’t have a DM to slide into’, before he provided Quinn’s handle for her.
Following the incident Doja said in a clip she tried to make a, ‘three-minute TikTok but it didn’t work,’ so she opted for an Instagram Live video, adding she hoped someone was recording the video.
She said it was ‘socially unaware’ for Noah to share their private conversation online but added that young people do ‘dumb s**t’ and ‘f**k up relationships with people’.
‘I’m just gonna say something right now, about the whole f***ing Noah Schnapp thing,’ she began.
‘I think that… to be fair, let’s try to be chill about it,’ Doja started. ‘Like Noah is a kid, but, I don’t even know how old he is, but he can’t be over – like there’s no way he’s over 21,’ she added of the actor.
‘But when you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb s**t. I’m like trying to be super fair,’
‘You do dumb s**t, you say dumb s**t, you f***ing, f**k up relationships with people. You make mistakes,’ she added.
Doja went on to admit that she too has had her ‘share of f**k ups’ and learnt from her mistakes, before fuming that it was ‘like weasel s**t’ for him to share their chat online.
A week later Noah returned to TikTok to tell followers he had made amends with the Paint The Town Red singer.
Posting a video of himself with Doja Cat’s Kiss Me More playing in the background, he added the caption: ‘Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings’ with two red heart emojis.
