Spencer Pratt and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are among various A-list stars who lost their homes in the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfire in January 2025.
Pratt’s $3 million home — where he lived with wife Heidi Montag, 39, and sons, Gunner, eight, and Ryker, three —  burned to the ground in the inferno.
The reality TV star, 42, recently announced a bid to run for mayor of Los Angeles as a result of what he called the current leadership’s ‘gross negligence’ during last year’s tragedy.
Louis-Dreyfus, 64, also saw her beloved residence reduced to ash. She took to Instagram earlier this week to share images of her Mediterranean-style mansion and reminisce.
She referenced the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song Our House as she wrote in the caption: writing, ‘Oh, it was such a very, very, very fine house.’Â
On the one-year anniversary of the disaster, little visible progress has been made at either property, as the oceanside community of Pacific Palisades remains flattened, with many homes still left with just a foundation or an empty plot of land.

Pratt attended the They Let Us Burn! protest in the Palisades on Wednesday.Â
It was there that he revealed his unexpected plan to run for mayor of the city.
He proclaimed in a speech, ‘The system in Los Angeles isn’t struggling, it’s fundamentally broken. It is a machine designed to protect the people at the top and the friends they exchange favors with while the rest of us drown in toxic smoke and ash.
‘Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles, and I’m done waiting for someone to take real action.
‘That’s why I am running for mayor. And let me be clear, this just isn’t a campaign, this is a mission, and we’re gonna expose the system.’
The father-of-two added, ‘They intentionally let us burn before, during and after. There was no accountability. It was gross negligence. They let this happen.
‘It wasn’t a natural disaster or something that was unavoidable. It was their fault, and we need the accountability we deserve.’
Last year the former MTV star and wife Heidi garnered renewed public interest after their home was burned to the ground.
At the time, Pratt encouraged fans to stream the blonde singer’s 2010 song I’ll Do It to help financially support them, prompting the old music to go viral.

After the fires were finally extinguished, the only remaining parts of their home were the charred entry gate and the front portion of the home’s stucco perimeter wall.
Large piles of debris were left throughout the property as well as burnt foliage that once decorated the home’s front yard.
Not only was the couple’s residence destroyed, but Pratt’s parents also lost their home to the fire.
He shared a photo of the little that remained of his parents’Â house via Instagram Stories last year.
‘My parents house gone,’ he wrote alongside a string of crying emojis.
The couple, who rose to fame on the LA-based reality series The Hills, were in state of disbelief and devastation for weeks as they opened up about the experience of losing their home.

Louis-Dreyfus lived in her $15 million Palisades home with longtime husband Brad Hall. Â
The pair, who both formerly worked on Saturday Night Live, bought the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house in the early 1990s.
It’s where they raised their sons, Henry, 33, and Charlie, 28.
Thousands of structures, including homes and businesses were destroyed by the blaze, which was one of the most destructive in California history.
Other stars who lost their homes include Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, Miles Teller, and Leighton Meester.
