Charlotte Church has given social media followers the opportunity to visit her holistic Welsh retreat – after pumping more than £500,000 into the venture to keep it afloat.

Located in the sleepy Powys village of Cwmdauddwr and surrounded by 40 sprawling acres of land, The Dreaming at Rhydoldog House was launched by Church after she purchased the property in 2021.

The retreat offers a wide range of alternative spiritual awakenings throughout the year, including ‘witchcraft’ sessions that are personally managed by the Welsh star.

Church, 39, has now invited followers to engage with its latest, an ‘eight chapter, land led’ online course called The Dreaming of the Earth.

Promoting her new venture on the retreat’s official Instagram page, the free-spirited singer claimed each session will include ‘ritual, imagination, and intimate practice with me, Charlotte Church.’

‘Across these chapters, you are invited into a slower, softer rhythm of being, a course to remember, awaken, and return to the quiet wisdom of the living world,’ she said.

‘Together, we will tend the elements, walk with intention, make with our hands, sit in stillness, sing, listen, and allow the natural world to mirror something true back to you.

‘These are practices I’ve been returning to myself for years. They are designed to be revisited again and again, a sanctuary for the soul whenever you need to slow down, reconnect, and belong.

‘Move gently. Return often. You are part of The Dreaming of the Earth.’

According to the retreat’s website, those signing up for the course can expect to ‘tend to the elements, fire, earth, air, and water, and listen for the little glimmers of soul that moves gently beneath everyday life.

‘You will be shown how to walk with intention, to make with your hands, to sit in stillness, to sing, to listen, and to allow the natural world to mirror something true back to you.’

The course offers three price points, among them a £90 ‘supported access’ admission ‘for those currently navigating financial strain, including difficulty meeting monthly bills, caring responsibilities, illness, or periods of instability or transition.

There’s also a £150 ‘sustainable price’ option ‘for those who are generally financially stable,’ and the £220 ‘pay it forward’ choice ‘for those who feel financially comfortable and secure.’

The Dreaming was set up four years ago by the singer but it is racking up huge debts, according to reports filed to Companies House in 2025.

According to the most recent set of accounts submitted to Companies House, The Dreaming Ltd is now in £811,626 debt – up from £707,550 in 2024.

Church is clearly determined to make it a success, as the accounts reveal that two firms connected to her music and media have pumped in £610,149.

Charlotte Church Ltd is owed £516,563 and Chick Flicks Ltd £93,586.

After a hugely successful singing career where its reckoned she raked in up to £25 million, the singer has plenty of reserves despite saying last year that she’d blown a lot of it claiming that she’s ‘not a millionaire anymore’, having to downsize from a mansion to a semi-detached.

Yet recent accounts for Charlotte Church Ltd reveal it has a very healthy £3,099,848 in reserves.

Church’s venture is aided by volunteers who she provides accommodation and food for in return for them helping at the retreat.

In August she called out to gardeners in exchange for these necessities, as well as ‘time immersed in the magic’ of the location.

The singer asked her followers who are ‘feeling a call to the land’ to come stay for up to six months to do garden and maintenance work.

Church bought £1.5million mansion, Rhydoldog House, with her husband Jonathan Powell in 2021 and worked hard to convert it into a green retreat boasting eight different rooms which are able to accommodate up to 16 people at once.

But despite being branded as a place for paying guests to ‘reconnect with themselves and the natural world’, she faced a number of building problems and planning battles to transform the property.
