Max Blanck was travelling to Queensland for a competition when he found himself sitting next to Tammy.

Admitting that he had no idea who the influencer was, Max said that a kind act by Tammy had prompted him to strike up a conversation.

‘It was just a good mother thing that stole my attention,’ Max said.

‘I had no idea who she was. The food van came across and she got her sandwich and my kids and myself had eaten before getting on the plane.

‘My youngest was complaining about being hungry, and I didn’t know what to do because the van had gone.’

Max continued: ‘All of a sudden, Tammy got up, I thought she was going to the toilet, and came back down with an extra sandwich and Tammy offered it to my youngest.

‘I said thank you and a couple of seconds later, I had the urge to introduce myself and we talked for the whole plane trip.’

The pair appeared to hit it off, with Max revealing they exchanged phone numbers and had planned to catch up, however, another suitor entered the picture.

‘She gave me her phone number and we were going to catch up for coffee and she was going to show my kids around the Gold Coast,’ he said.

‘Everything was good, and then abruptly just stopped and next thing you know there’s Bailey Smith.’

Earlier this year, Bailey and Tammy made headlines after being linked during a highly publicised dating stint that fuelled weeks of speculation.

Captioning one of his clips, Max added that he had to spend days proving to his mates that he wasn’t lying about meeting Tammy.

‘Will say it was a surprise telling my work mates about this lady I randomly met to have them show me there phone and ask is this her. [I] spent the next couple of days feeling I had to prove I wasn’t lying. Luckily, I could,’ he said.

‘I’m only peed off that my kids were looking forward to seeing her again. For me, I’m just a man from a small country town so it doesn’t really matter.’

Max also brought receipts on social media, after one follower commented suggesting that he had made up his rendezvous with Tammy.

‘Tammy did not give you her number,’ one disbeliever wrote with a crying laughing face emoji.

He then shared a screenshot of his phone contacts which did, indeed, include Tammy.

Commenting on the post, Max admitted that his story might seem a tad far-fetched.

‘Don’t be sorry. I would have thought the same as you. It’s only by randomness that she was seated with me and my daughter on the plane. It was only after she did something nice for my daughter that I introduced myself.’

Daily Mail has reached out to Max Blanck for comment.

It comes after Tammy’s former ‘flame’ Bailey, confirmed where he stood with the blonde beauty – and it is not quite the hard launch fans were expecting.

The AFL star took to Instagram in December to announce that he and the fitness influencer have decided to make things official as friends, teaming up with Tinder ahead of the busiest dating day of the year.

The announcement was followed by a very cringeworthy video which was mercilessly mocked by fans.

The promo shows Bailey in dating coach mode, offering Tammy some tips about opening lines when messaging people on dating apps.

Influencer Simone Anderson threw some not-so-subtle shade at the clip, commenting, ‘Fab ad,’ with a raft of crying laughing face emojis.

Another follower replied to Simone’s cheeky comment with: ‘Stop lying.’

One fan jumped in with a simple, ‘This looks so awkward,’ while another echoed the sentiment with: ‘This has to be a joke.’

Another follower went one further, claiming the ad was the worst thing they had ever witnessed.

‘This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life,’ they wrote, while another replied: ‘And she’s still being paid a lot of money for it.’
