Jessica Alba celebrated her son Hayes turning 8 in a heartfelt message on Instagram on January 1.
The Fantastic Four star, 44, who shares three kids with estranged husband Cash Warren, included videos and photos of her youngest from babyhood and toddler to middle childhood as Gorillaz’ Feel Good Inc. played in the background.
‘My Hayesie, My sweet, bright, fun, hilarious Hayes. Wow—8 years ago, early in the morning on NYE, you arrived. Time has flown by, yet it has paused on so many beautiful moments with you,’ she wrote.
‘Watching you grow into the coolest lil dude ever has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.’
The moving montage featured clips of Hayes as a baby hanging out with his big sisters, Haven, now 14, and Honor, now 17, and getting his first haircut.
Alba – who is dating younger man Danny Ramirez, 33Â – showed off snaps of her and her son in coordinated outfits, along with footage of the tot having fun at the beach and getting a kiss from mom, then eating a chocolate-covered apple.

The Into the Blue actress also shared scenes of Hayes taking a swing on the golf course, dressed in his favorite team’s jersey at an LA Lakers game, playing the piano, and kicking it on the soccer field.
Alba praised her son’s many accomplishments and attributes in the lengthy caption.
‘Your skills on the tennis court, golf course, soccer field, and handball court—which you improvise on every wall or back of a couch, indoors or out—are impressive to say the least,’ she went on.
‘You take pride in being kind and doing well, which makes my heart swell. I love your quick wit with your sisters, your competitive nature—kicking my butt in UNO on the regular—and your desire to always play and have fun.’
Alba shared some of her ‘absolute favorite moments’ with her only son.
‘My absolute favorite moments have been our sleepovers and nighttime cuddles, filled with your musings of the day and questions about life,’ she wrote.
‘Also, our lazy morning cuddles with hot chocolate for you and coffee for me, watching a movie we didn’t finish the night before.
‘I love that you are bilingual and have such compassion and empathy for anyone who might feel different in any way or circumstance,’ she praised.

She obviously was referring to her ongoing divorce from husband Cash Warren, 46.
The couple separated in December 2024 and The Honest Company founder filed for divorce in February 2025, citing ‘irreconcilable differences,’ with both striving to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship.
Both have moved on to new relationships – Alba with The Last of Us actor Danny Ramirez while Warren has been seen with actress Seanna Pereira, 20, after a brief romance with model Hana Sun Doerr, 25.
Alba, meanwhile, concluded her gushing tribute to Hayes by writing, ‘I am tremendously proud of you and love you in this lifetime and all lifetimes forevermore. Happy Birthday, my baby boy! Mama.’
