Gordon Ramsay failed to mention Adam Peaty’s estranged family while gushing over the Olympian and daughter Holly’s ‘perfect’ wedding day on Tuesday.
Adam, 31, tied the knot with Holly, 25, at Bath Abbey on Saturday on December 27, amid a bitter feud which saw his mother Caroline uninvited and his sister Bethany the only relative attending the nuptials.
TV chef Gordon, 59, who reportedly made a dig at the swimmer’s parents in his explosive wedding speech, failed to mention the Peaty family in his post about the wedding’s ‘wonderful guests’ on Instagram.
Commenting on a glossy Vogue magazine snap of the newlyweds, he said: ‘Perfect wedding and such wonderful guests to witness your beautiful wedding congratulations to you both’.
Meanwhile Adam who appeared unaffected by the turmoil, took to his Stories to brand himself ‘highly blessed and favoured’ despite cutting off his family.
According to reports in his father of the bride speech Gordon commented on how beautiful Holly looked and told Adam he was a ‘lucky man’, adding: ‘Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to.’

The Sun went on to claim that Gordon couldn’t resist a sly dig at Adam’s absent parents he told his daughter Holly: ‘Shame you don’t have the same.’
Adam is thought to have not mentioned his family or parents in his speech, instead praising his swim coach Mel Marshall for being his ‘everything’, and for ‘grounding and inspiring’ him.
In an emotional moment he also reportedly said that he saw Mel ‘like a mum’ due to her support.
But Adam’s mother Caroline, who was banned from the lavish ceremony, believes the celebrity chef had ‘pre planned’ the cruel swipe against her.
A family source told the Daily Mail: ‘Caroline can’t believe Gordon brought their family troubles up his speech. It is outrageous and very hurtful.’
‘By him saying Tana will be a good mum to them both makes Caroline sound like a bad mum. It was a cruel dig at her. She has always done her best for all her children. She is a very good mum. Who says this wasn’t pre-planned.?’
Meanwhile Holly has defended her father’s speech at her wedding, saying she felt ‘overwhelmed with happiness’ during it.
In a new interview with British Vogue, Holly shared a photo of herself and Adam smiling and laughing as the chef addressed guests.

The photo was captioned: ‘Listening to dad’s speech, looking around the room and feeling overwhelmed with the love and the happiness on our guests’ faces.’
In a jibe at the estranged Peaty family, Holly revealed that her parents paid for her and Adam’s luxurious Honeymoon to Mauritius, saying it was their ‘wedding present’.
She said: ‘We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents. I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…’
Holly shared numerous snaps of the wedding with the fashion publication, including a rather awkward one of Holly and Adam posing with her parents and David and Victoria Beckham.
With Adam’s parents not in attendance at the wedding, they stood alongside the groom in the photo with Gordon and Tana alongside Holly.
Unsurprisingly, chef Gordon was heavily involved in the food served on the big day and worked with the team at London’s Savoy Grill to design the menu.
It was an emotional day for Gordon, with Holly the first of his and Tana’s six children to tie the knot. Holly admitted he often welled up with tears whenever she spoke to him about the wedding in the weeks prior to the ceremony.
The day after the nuptials, Holly and Adam hosted an ‘intimate’ brunch for their bridal and groom parties.

Holly swept into her wedding in Bath Abbey on the arm of her celebrity chef father, but kept her lace gown concealed beneath a billowing hooded ivory cloak.
Sitting at home more than 130 miles away in Staffordshire, Adam’s broken–hearted mother Caroline was said to be ‘beside herself’ with grief at missing what should have been one of the happiest days of her life.
Speaking from the council house where Adam grew up, the 59–year–old told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I’m not going to be hurt like this again’.
She had told Daily Mail that she felt as if Holly and Adam ‘have cut my heart out’.
This newspaper can also reveal that, moments before he walked into the abbey clutching the hand of his five–year–old son George, Adam was sent a devastating text message by his aunt Louise, who was also not invited to the wedding.
In it, she wrote: ‘I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
‘Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.’
