Love Island USA Star Alleges Child Abuse by Father

Love Island USA Star Alleges Child Abuse by Father

One of the breakout stars of Love Island USA’s seventh season made disturbing claims about her relationship with her father shortly after she left the show’s villa.

On the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Huda Mustafa alleged that her father abused her throughout her childhood.

She also detailed a chilling incident in which she allegedly witness him ‘beating the s*** out of’ her mother, and she was reduced to tears as she hinted at darker interactions with her father that she said her family refuses to believe.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Mustafa for comment but hasn’t yet heard back.

The 24-year-old reality star opened up about her painful childhood just days after the season finale of Love Island USA, in which her costars Amaya and Bryan won the $100,000 prize, while she and Chris Seele finished in third place.

Mustafa prefaced her tale of alleged abuse by recounting to Alex Cooper how her parents had both immigrated to the United States.

The two gained citizenship, and her father ran his own business while her mother worked as a school teacher.

But their careers didn’t mean that their family led a ‘fortunate’ life, as they had to support five children without the safety net of other family in the country.

‘Growing up, my dad was extremely abusive,’ Mustafa alleged.

She claimed that no one in the family was safe from him, as he abused her, her mother and her siblings.

Mustafa said she was still haunted by a ‘vivid memory’ from her childhood in which she allegedly could hear her father ‘beating the s*** out of’ her mother in another room.

‘I remember, finally someone got the door open. I just remember seeing my mom’s face,’ she continued, claiming that her mother’s glasses were broken after the attack.

‘That’s literally — that was my childhood,’ Mustafa continued as her eyes started to shimmer with tears.

Alex was curious to know if the reality star could still maintain a relationship with her father in the wake of her allegations, but Mustafa claimed she hadn’t spoken to him in eight years.

‘I stopped talking to him when I was 16. There’s a really valid reason as to why I’m not speaking to him,’ she said cryptically.

‘There were a lot of times when I was alone with my dad, and there’s things my family doesn’t believe me about,’ Mustafa continued, which elicited a small gasp from Cooper.

The Love Island star kept a smile plastered on her face even as she began to cry and daubed at her eyes with tissues.

‘To this day, I don’t think anyone in my family believes anything that I say about that,’ she continued, referring to her mysterious time alone with her father.

Cooper asked why her family wouldn’t believe her, and Mustafa could only say, ‘I have no idea.’

She continued: ‘Maybe it’s hard to believe. But I just accepted that I know what was going on.’
