Delta Goodrem kicked off 2026 in fine style, enjoying a day on the high seas with husband Matthew Copley.
The pair were spotted preparing to board a boat in Sydney on New Year’s Day, joining a party of friends for a day of waterborne fun.
The Aussie hitmaker, 41, cut a very chic figure in a $800 velvet-trimmed tweed jacket from French label Sandro.
She appeared keen to take a dip as well, wearing an eye-catching one-piece swimsuit under the chic blazer.
The $695 swimwear from another French fashion house, Livy, featured a unique wavy cut at the décolletage and braided gold chain stitching.
Delta kept the noir theme going with a pair of dark-coloured, loose-fitting pants, while the Francophile adorned her feet with a pair of black leather $2,700 Chanel sandals.

The newlyweds looked chuffed to be in each other’s company, putting on a loved-up display as they romantically cuddled on deck
Her love of French haute couture didn’t stop there, with the Born To Try hitmaker carrying a $4,450 Louis Vuitton canvas duffle bag.
The luxe carry-all appeared to be filled to the brim with belated Christmas presents Delta planned to give out once on board.
Leaving her blonde locks down for the occasion, Delta accessorised with a raft of gold bling around her neck and on her wrists and fingers.
She finished the look with a pair of black sunglasses from Italian label Céline.
Husband Matthew, 44, meanwhile, went for a much more casual, albeit similarly stylish, approach.Â
He wore an eye-catching $890 swim shirt from Casablanca that he unbuttoned to expose a hint of chest hair.
The shirt boasted a unique geometric pattern and he also wore a pair of matching $569 shorts.
Wearing his long, wet locks down, Matthew accessorised with a pair of black Tom Ford sunglasses.

And Delta looked to be having a great start to 2026, happily mingling with guests as the boat prepared to depart.              Â
Delta and Matthew have spent the past few months basking in newlywed bliss after marrying in a lavish Maltese ceremony in June.Â
The pair exchanged vows at the historic St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina before moving celebrations to the opulent Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar.
Delta previously revealed she had no plans to sing at her own wedding.
‘I had no intention of singing,’ she told the Herald Sun.
‘We are blessed to get to do what we love on stage and sharing that is the best ever, so I didn’t feel the need to do that at the wedding.’

‘All my family and friends, I ask them to come to shows all the time, they don’t need that for my wedding,’ she added.
In July, the couple shared a breathtaking first look at their big day in a Vogue Australia spread shot by photographers Matt Porteous and Becky Lee.
Delta stunned in an off-the-shoulder couture gown by South Australian designer Paul Vasileff, complete with French tulle, intricate lattice detailing and a dramatic two-and-a-half-metre train.
She completed the look with sparkling diamonds from ANTON Jewellery.
‘June 2025, Husband and Wife. It was more magical than we both could have dreamed,’ Delta wrote emotionally on Instagram at the time.
‘We said I do under the Maltese skies in a family fairytale wedding brought to life by so many angels surrounding us.Â
‘We are holding on to every memory from that moment – the love, the laughter, the happy tears and dancing till the sun came up.’
