BigHit Music officially confirmed their K-pop boyband BTS’s comeback Thursday after all seven members completed their 18-month military service required for all able-bodied male citizens of South Korea.
The five-time Grammy nominees sent their devoted ARMY fanbase an alert through the mail that their four-year hiatus has ended and their 10th studio album is scheduled to drop March 20.
BTS – who range from ages 28-32 – included a handwritten letter signed by all including the rapping leader RM aka Kim Nam-joon who wrote: ‘Waiting for (this comeback) more than anyone else’ – according to Korea Times.
Singer Jimin and rapper J-Hope called 2026 ‘the year we finally meet again’ while rapper Suga aka Min Yoon-gi gushed: ‘Let’s have a joyful year together!’
‘In 2026, we’ll make even more and even better memories together,’ singer V wrote. ‘So please look forward to it!’

Singer Jungkook chimed in: ‘My heart has always been the same. I’ll keep doing my best, just as I always have.’
‘I’ve greeted you as a solo artist over the past two years,’ singer Jin wrote.
‘And now I finally get to greet you again as part of the team.’
The sensational septet recorded the new record in July and they plan on launching a world tour after it drops.
‘We’ll be visiting fans all around the world,’ the Bangtan Boys teased during their July 1 livestream via Weverse.
‘So we hope you’re as excited as we are.’
On June 11, Jungkook and Jimin were photographed in Yeoncheon-gun after being discharged from their mandatory military service.
