Julie Bishop enjoyed a cosy New Year’s Eve with her boyfriend Stephen Gray.
But it was the former politician’s cheeky T-shirt in her latest Instagram post that had everyone talking on Thursday.
Bishop, who was Australia’s foreign minister from 2013 to 2018, donned a white tee with the words ‘Wake me for Champagne’ across the front in gold.
The outfit was met with appreciation from her social media followers, who flooded the comments section with compliments.
‘Great shirt!!!’ posted one person, while another said, ‘Best shirt ever!’
One more chimed in: ‘Love that T-shirt’ with someone else commenting, ‘The top! THE SKIRT!’

Julie and Stephen appeared to have a quiet night indoors to ring in the new year together, sharing a glass of champagne.
The pair, who have been dating for over two years, looked very relaxed in each other’s company.
Julie and Stephen have gone from strength to strength since they went public with their relationship in July, 2023.
At that time, Julie ‘soft-launched’ Stephen on her social media accounts.
Last year, they travelled to South Australia for a ‘fabulous Outback adventure’.
In a video shared to her Instagram page, Bishop put together a montage of images and video clips from their holiday and tagged her partner.
They were also pictured having dinner with friends together in December 2023.
While little is known about Gray, his Facebook profile shows him proudly standing behind a café racer style motorcycle, clad in a black leather jacket.

The Perth man also shared photos of a yellow Ducati bike parked along the harbour.
The news of her new romance came two years after David Panton allegedly dumped Bishop over dinner in Sydney in July 2022, putting an end to their eight-year relationship.
During their partnership, Bishop took Panton to the United Nations to meet world leaders, Buckingham Palace to hobnob with British royalty and to the White House where he met Donald Trump.
The pair first stepped out publicly in 2014, and were pictured at countless celebrity events over the years including the 2018 wedding of Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough.
Bishop was understood to have been ‘blindsided’ by the sudden breakdown of her relationship, sources close to the former politician said.
Julie recently rang in her 69th birthday in style in July, soaking up the sun and glamour of Dubai.
