Sabrina Carpenter appeared on Instagram on Wednesday and revealed she accidentally set her bathroom on fire.
The 26-year-old pop star — who just took a swipe at ex-boyfriend Barry Keoghan — shared a photo of a heavily charred sink via Instagram Stories.
There was a small red candle set on the side of the scorched beige countertop.
Carpenter wrote, ‘set my bathroom on fire by accident,’ and innocently added a heart emoji, providing no other context.Â
The singer-songwriter also shared various photos with her nearly 50 million followers as she looked back on 2025 ahead of the New Year.
It comes after one week ago she released new tracks for her Man’s Best Friend album.Â

‘Man’s best friend bonus track edition with one of my favorites ‘Such a Funny Way’ is now officially available on streaming.’
In early December Carpenter said farewell to her 14-month-long Short n’ Sweet tour with a revealing TikTok post.
The Espresso hitmaker used the social media app to look back at the show as she unveiled little known facts about the production.
Along with snapshots taken at different spots on the stage, she added revelatory comments.
Carpenter wrote that she was ‘saying goodbye to the heart pit where i pretended to be shocked by the surprise song,’ and admitted that the fireplace was where ‘I never knew if the shot would be water or tequila.’
While standing on a white staircase, the blonde bombshell described it as ‘the stairs that humbled my ass way too many times.’
She captioned, ‘Short n’ Sweet tour forever,’ with a red lips kiss emoji, collecting millions of likes from her 36.5 million followers.

The music artist’s wildly successful tour ended in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena in the city’s downtown neighborhood.
The endeavor kicked off in September 2024 and included a tight schedule of 72 shows throughout the world.
Amid the ambitious undertaking, the songstress released another album — Man’s Best Friend, which came out this past August.Â
The project has earned her a whopping six Grammy nominations for the upcoming February 2026 ceremony.Â
Taking to Instagram weeks ago, the entertainer said goodbye to her tour in a more formal manner.
She shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes portraits from the various shows and added lengthy, sentimental caption.
‘This show really was everything I’ve dreamt of making since i was young,’ she wrote.
‘This combined with a literal house that became a home of a stage + working with the sweetest, most talented, hardworking souls every day, so much laughter and moments that felt straight out of a sitcom, has meant that I am feeling every bit of this ending and feeling it hard!’ he added.
The note continued, ‘You guys sold out every single show in some of my dream bucket list venues and reminded me each and every night why i love what I do and I’m so lucky to do it. I truly think I’ll look back on this tour when I’m old and gray and wish I could step back into my go go boots just one more time.’
