With fans flocking to Cardiff to watch Noel and Liam Gallagher take to the stage for the first night of their long-awaited reunion tour, many fans have been crying their hearts out for new music.
But Dolly Busby, the Daily Mail’s Showbusiness Reporter, has ripped this rumour to shreds on the first episode of the brand new YouTube show Celebrity Confidential.
Dolly, who has a long list of contacts in the entertainment world, said she was granted early access to the Gallagher brother’s set list.
‘It’s 23 songs long,’ she exclusively told Celebrity Confidential viewers. ‘It’s really exciting. They are finishing with Champagne Supernova which I think will be epic.
‘I think fans will be really happy they hit all the marks of what you would want out of an Oasis gig.’
Reacting to this, Lisa Snell, who hosts the show, pressed Dolly for more information on any new music the brothers may be playing on their tour – as Cardiff will be their first performance together since their dramatic split in 2009.
‘I’ve not seen anything on the set list so far,’ Dolly said, shaking her head. ‘But that’s not to say they won’t pull something out of the bag.’
But Dolly revealed there is one reason why she doesn’t expect the brothers to release new music anytime soon.

Sources close to the brothers told Dolly: ‘It’s all gearing up now. Technical rehearsals for the band started on Monday and then Noel and Liam joined them a couple of days later.
But in a tell-tale sign that the Gallagher brothers are still looking back in anger, the source said: ‘Liam barely even stayed for the first eight songs before leaving the rehearsals early and Noel continued on his own.’
Explaining why she is not feeling optimistic about the brothers releasing new music, Dolly said: ‘I think that probably would have required them to be in the studio together longer than ten minutes.’
Laughing at this, Lisa said: ‘Yeah, eight songs and then he’s off. That’s not looking good, is it?’
‘Yeah,’ Dolly replied. ‘I hope that doesn’t happen at the real thing,’ Dolly added. ‘I am going.
‘It’s up in Cardiff and I think it’s going to be something of a historical moment.’
Dolly is joined on the Celebrity Confidential panel by her colleague Molly Clayton, the Daily Mail’s Showbusiness Correspondent.
Bringing her own story to the table, Molly had an inside scoop on the Lionesses as they kick off the Women’s Euros in Switzerland.
