Savannah Chrisley Starts New Chapter After Fighting for Parents’ Pardon

Savannah Chrisley is excited to return to the ‘carefree life of a 27-year-old’ after spending the past two years raising her two younger siblings at her newly-pardoned parents’ $1.6M, 5K-square-foot, four-bedroom property in the Nashville suburb of Belle Meade.

‘That’s what I keep saying,’ the ‘MAGA Barbie’ revealed on Hulu special The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup on Sunday. ‘I’m moving into a condo.’

When Todd and Julie Chrisley asked if she’d miss the house, Savannah scoffed: ‘I’m not gonna miss landscapers, I’m not gonna miss pool people.’

The 56-year-old former real estate mogul chimed in: ‘I have learned that a house is not a priority to her. Maintenance is not a priority to her.’

‘No, I was raising kids,’ Chrisley replied.

‘He comes in and is critiquing everything in the house! I was literally fighting for y’all for two and a half years and raising kids, I think the floors are fine.’

And while the ex-con married couple’s son Chase is 29, the Unlocked podcaster was responsible for their 19-year-old son Grayson and their 12-year-old adopted granddaughter Chloe.

Todd (born Michael) also welcomed two older children – estranged daughter Lindsie, 35; and son Kyle, 33 – during his first marriage to Teresa Terry, which ended in 1996.

‘I forced myself into rooms I was never invited into,’ Savannah said of helping her famous folks receive controversial pardons from President Donald Trump on May 27. ‘I educated myself.’

The high fashion-loving patriarch had been serving a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, FL for tax evasion (2008-2019) after being found guilty of defrauding community banks out of more than $30M of loans.

And 52-year-old Julie had been serving a seven-year sentence at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, KY for the same charges as well as wire fraud and obstruction of justice.

During the three-week trial, it was revealed that Todd’s alleged ex-lover and business partner Mark Braddock – who was granted immunity – was the one who tipped off authorities.

The jury convicted the Chrisleys and an appeals court upheld the conviction, and while they acted contrite at their 2022 sentencings, they’re now defiant about their ‘innocence.’ 

‘Convicted by a jury of our peers. Were we? I didn’t see multi-millionaires in that jury box. I didn’t see people that were in the film industry in that jury box. I saw peop-le in a heavily Democratic county,’ Todd blasted.

‘I don’t have an apology to give you or anyone else over the money that I’ve made.’

On Sunday, Grayson Instastoried footage of himself and his father shopping for essentials together: ‘Dad walking around a grocery store is my favorite animal. (He has no clue where anything is and is basically here for emotional support).’

He added: ‘I’ve always told my children that it doesn’t matter what someone else’s opinion is of you unless it causes you to question who you are at your core. No one’s opinion of me has ever caused me to question who I am at the core, so I don’t worry about someone else’s opinion.’ 

The Chrisleys plan on moving to Charleston, SC where they’ll film a new reality show for the Lifetime Network.

‘We have hopes of acquiring a mansion there that we’re gonna convert to a hotel,’ Todd noted.
