Bill Goldsmith has shared a heart-rending update following the death of his daughter Olive.
The Bachelorette star and fiancée Isabelle Eisermann’s daughter, Olive, was tragically stillborn in November.
Bill took to Instagram on Wednesday to reflect on what had been a bittersweet year, with the reality star popping the question to Isabelle in July.
He shared a carousel to Instagram featuring poignant images of the couple with their daughter, alongside photos documenting Bill’s beachside proposal.
The post also included photos of Isabelle and Bill celebrating the pregnancy and an excited Isabelle lying in a hospital bed before the birth.
‘This year gave us so much and took so much at the same time,’ Bill captioned the post.

‘Getting engaged, sharing so many genuinely happy moments, and making memories we’ll always be grateful for,’ he continued.
In spite of the joy, Bill added that losing his daughter had irrevocably changed the couple.
‘It was also the hardest year we’ve ever faced. Losing our sweet Olive and the endless hospital visits changed us in ways we never expected,’ he wrote.
‘There were days that felt impossibly heavy, and moments where just getting through was enough.’
Bill rounded out the sombre post with: ‘These photos hold the joy, the love, the heartbreak, and the strength it took to keep going. Carrying Olive with us in everything we do, always.’
Isabelle was quick to comment on Bill’s post with a heartfelt: ‘I love you so much.’
Another follower offered a hopeful: ‘Wishing you a 2026 filled with happiness and joy.’

‘Our sweet girl, Olive May Goldsmith, was born sleeping on Thursday, 31st October at 4.14am at 27 weeks,’ they began.
‘She put up the strongest fight, especially these last few weeks, with all odds against her and continued to surprise the doctors and midwives with her strength to hold on, until she no longer could.’
The couple added they were still processing the news.
‘We have never known a love like this and have never felt a pain like this. The words ‘I’m sorry, there is no heartbeat’ will haunt us forever,’ they wrote.
The couple said they spent three days with Olive in hospital after her birth.
‘We cuddled endlessly, showered her with kisses, dressed her, read to her, sang to her, and took her outside. We told her every second how perfect and loved she is,’ they wrote.
‘Leaving Olive was the hardest thing we will ever have to do. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their baby or walk out of the hospital without them.
‘We love you more than you could ever imagine, Olive. You were a fighter until the end and kept your mum and dad strong throughout the most heartbreaking journey.’
Bill and Isabelle first shared the news that they were expecting their first child in September, two months after their engagement.
‘Baby Goldsmith arriving Jan 2026! Can’t believe you’re half way grown already,’ Isabelle shared with family and friends.
Goldsmith shot to fame as an early frontrunner on Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette in 2018.
