Jodie Turner-Smith Shows Off Legs in Distressed Shorts and Fitted T-Shirt in Manhattan with Friend Nancy

Jodie Turner-Smith looked as stylish as ever as she stepped out in Manhattan’s SoHo with her best friend Nancy Gomez on Friday.

The British actress, 38, put on a leggy display in a pair of denim shorts and a fitted black T-shirt.

She kept comfortable in a pair of flat, black ballet pumps and she completed her outfit with a large, yellow Burberry shoulder bag. 

Meanwhile, photographer Nancy cut an equally casual figure in an oversized white T-shirt.

She completed the look with a pair of black sunglasses and a baseball cap and they appeared in excellent spirits as they headed out for a stroll.

The friends are often seen together and they are so close that Jodie joked about them ‘never beating the lesbian allegations’ on social media in May.

She had shared a playful picture of them sharing a kiss with Jodie captioning her cheeky words, with Nancy responding: ‘Like ever lol.’ 

Their jovial outing comes after a difficult time amid Jodie’s bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Joshua Jackson, 46, over their five-year-old daughter Juno.

Relations between the pair took a further downward turn earlier this month when she appeared to compare him to a Disney villain.

Jodie and the Dawson’s Creek star split in October 2023 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ reportedly caused by their busy work schedules – after first sparking up a romance in 2018 and welcoming daughter Juno, now five.

The Queen & Slim actress took to Instagram earlier this month to share a cryptic post showing an array of Disney villains, who at first appeared nice. 

The post read: ‘Why don’t you like that person? They seem so nice. You know who else seemed to be nice?’ with Jodie adding the caption ‘stay safe out there ‘

Their jovial outing comes after a difficult time amid Jodie’s bitter custody battle with her ex-husband Joshua Jackson (pictured in 2022), 46, over their five-year-old daughter Juno 

The post came after Joshua filed a motion and request for an emergency custody order modification, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

In the motion, filed on May 30, he claimed Jodie changed their five-year-old daughter’s school for kindergarten without his permission.

He claimed she selected an establishment that was outside of the 45-minute commute time from his home that they had previously agreed upon.

He requested that Juno remains at her current school where she is ‘flourishing’ and is seeking joint consent with her ex-wife over any decisions regarding her education.
