Jonathan explained how the panel had been ‘kept on their toes’ this series with the introduction of The Masked Singer band.

Maya gushed: ‘My favourite is Monkey Business. It’s a cool outfit. It’s chic’, while Mo said: ‘I like Red Panda. Red Panda is great because it’s a Panda that’s in a fireman’s outfit that’s cool.’
Asked to name their favourite perfomance from the upcoming series Davina teased: ‘One of the characters is going to sing Colours of the Wind which is one of my favourite songs sung by one of my favourite singers.”
Maya added: Maya: ‘Its Can Of Worms, the character raps and I was so impressed by the time keeping of all the rapping ability of a massive can of worms! They don’t miss a beat!’.
It comes after The Masked Singer viewers were left stunned as the winner of this year’s Christmas special was revealed as a major daytime TV star.
Before the big unmasking, Figgy Pudding was revealed to be BBC Radio 2 Breakfast host Scott Mills, with Maya correctly guessing his identity.
Meanwhile, Baroness Floella Benjamin was revealed as the star behind Santa’s Sack and Coronation Street’s Maureen Lipman underneath Goose A-Laying.

Attention then tuned to who was the animated star hiding underneath Mistletoe.
Maya, Jonathan and Davina were all sure it was former X Factor host and This Morning presenter Dermot O’Leary, while Mo guessed it was Big Narstie.
It was in fact Dermot O’Leary as he removed his mask and revealed himself to the audience and judges.
Speaking after his win, the presenter said: ‘It felt good. But I think everyone knew it was me by that point.’
He added that the hardest part of the show was not being able to see whilst in the costume.
Dermot, 52, explained: ‘I had no vision at all. It’s quite claustrophobic and it’s quite tight in the costume. Which is fine as long as you deal with that.’
Meanwhile, host Joel accidentally revealed a celebrity’s identity during the recording of the festive episode, sending it into chaos.
He filmed the special earlier this year, as four new stars dressed in wacky costumes to sing while a panel attempts to guess who they are.

His former Big Brother colleague Davina was left stunned
However, while filming Joel got into trouble with ITV bosses as he instantly recognised the laugh of Dermot’s character Mistletoe and blurted out their name.
The studio audience erupted into laughter as he dropped to the floor in shame.
Joel told The Sun: ‘I can’t believe I did it. This person was chuckling in the costume and it’s a chuckle I know well and I said their name. It just came out. Their actual name!’
‘Thankfully, they had pretty much guessed who it was. But producers did reiterate to me that I wasn’t to do that again. I was on the naughty step.’
The Masked Singer starts on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th January at 6.30pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player
