Hollywood bombshell who once romanced Al Pacino steps out looking unrecognizable in LA

This award-winning actress looked unrecognizable during a rare outing in Los Angeles.

The 61-year-old movie star, who rose to fame in the early 90s and is best known for her work in theater, film and even television, kept a low profile for a solo excursion in Beverly Hills during the holiday season.

An interesting tidbit about the blonde bombshell’s personal life was she once unapologetically admitted she had an affair with Al Pacino while he was still in a relationship.

Some of her other most notable performances include when she starred in Awakenings opposite the late legend Robin Williams and Robert De Niro in 1990.

She is also renowned for her work across genres after starring in comedy Kindergarten Cop, action flick The Relic as well as her TV appearances in American Crime, which earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination.

She is also famous for her work in theater, having earned Tony nominations for her performances in Our Town and All My Sons.

Can you guess who she is?

The 61-year-old movie star — who rose to fame in the early 90s and is best known for her work in theater, film and even television — kept a low profile for a solo excursion in Beverly Hills during the holiday season

She is Penelope Ann Miller.

One of her most iconic movie roles was in Carlito’s Way, she starred opposite Al Pacino as his onscreen lover in the 1993 crime drama.

And in real life, the costars were also romantically linked when they had an affair while he was still in a relationship with journalist Lyndall Hobbs.

‘It’s not a secret and I’m not ashamed of it,’ Miller told People in 1993. ‘Al is a very passionate person, and he brought out a certain womanliness, a sexuality, a passion in me. I think I always knew I had it in me, but he brought out a real fire.’

She was also linked to Woody Harrelson in the early 90s before going on to marry her first husband Will Arnett for just one year only.

She married James Patrick Huggins in 2000 and has been with him ever since.

They share two daughters, and Miller previously revealed that she met him when she was only a teenager.

She wrote in a May 2022 birthday tribute to her husband on Instagram: ‘I met you when I was 15 yrs old.. so 43 years, you know pretty much everything about me and we are here now, with 2 amazing girls.’

She and her longtime partner are parents to daughters Eloisa May, 25, and Maria Adela, 16.

Miller started her career in entertainment on Broadway and starred in the original stage production of Biloxi Blues before later appearing in the 1988 film adaptation.

Throughout her decades-spanning career, she has always balanced her passion for theater as well as film, though she is perhaps best known for her movie roles around 30 years ago.

Last week, the silver screen star stepped out in a cozy-chic outfit, bundled up in a cashmere sweater and accessorized with a red scarf ahead of celebrating the winter holidays with her family.

She had her light blonde hair pulled back in a messy updo, a stark difference as she was previously known for her famous blonde ringlets she would crop and style in a chic bob.

While running errands in Beverly Hills, she paired her gray sweater with blue, bellbottom jeans and black booties.

She carried a large, leather purse with gold hardware and also threw on a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

She wore a sparkly ring on her pointer finger on one hand and also wore crystal earrings paired with a matching pendant necklace.

Her latest roles include indie dramedy Wake, in which she is set to star alongside Cole Sprouse and Chris Parnell.

The flick follows four semi-estranged siblings who reunite for their father’s wake, only to clash with his overbearing side of the family in a tug-of-war over how to say goodbye.

The casting for Wake was announced in August, and the movie is slated for a festival run and release in 2026.

Miller is also one of the leading stars of the newly released drama film, After All, in which she stars alongside Zach Gilford, Erika Christensen, Sierra McCormick and many more.

In the Kerstin Karlhuber-directed movie, the story follows three generations of women who are confronted by buried secrets and the path toward love and forgiveness when Ellen returns home to care for her ailing mother and estranged teenage daughter, per the logline.

After All received a limited theatrical release in October and became available the following month for on demand viewing on streaming services Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
