Jennifer Lopez enjoys a cozy Christmas in matching pajamas with family including rare snap with sister Lynda

Jennifer Lopez is best known for her extravagant red carpet looks but she opted fora  bit of comfort for the holiday season.

The 56-year-old A-lister – who recently enjoyed a surprise reunion with ex-husband Ben Affleck –  slipped into matching cozy pajamas with her loved ones for Christmas.

Lopez posted a gallery of images on Wednesday morning including a rare snap with her sister Lynda, 54. 

The multihyphenate and the rest of her family donned red and white striped pajamas for the occasion.

Lopez shared a few snaps of herself posing while sitting in front of the Christmas tree.

There was also a selfie taken by Lynda featuring many of their loved ones – including Jennifer’s 17-year-old Emme Maribel – sitting close to each other while wearing the same outfits as they smiled for the camera. 

 The star captioned the holiday gallery to her 246million followers: ‘Twas the night… [red ribbon, sparkle, and Christmas tree emojis]’

This came just days after she had a surprise reunion with ex Ben Affleck over the past weekend amid the holiday season – and an insider recently shed light on the former couple’s outing. 

A few days earlier on Sunday, the 53-year-old Oscar winner and his son Samuel, 13, enjoyed shopping and a tasty meal with the On The Floor songstress while visiting Brentwood Country Mart. 

The two stars settled their divorce back in January – five months after Lopez, 56, officially filed the paperwork on their second wedding anniversary in August 2024. 

‘They met up and went shopping together. Jen and Ben seemed fine. The focus was mostly on Sam,’ a source told People in an article published on Tuesday.

The insider added that the teenager was very talkative while picking out presents at shops with his father and former stepmother.  

Lopez was also attentive during the daytime excursion before purchasing special gifts for Affleck’s other children as well. Afterwards, both stars went their own ways after arriving separately to the shopping center. 

Daily Mail reached out to Affleck and Lopez’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back. 

During the relaxing shopping trip, the group stopped in a number of high-end stores such as Sezane. 

Lopez as well as her ex-husband and his son then later grabbed a bite to eat at the Farmshop market. 

The actress showed off her winter style wearing a brown and white polka dot dress which was layered with a cream-colored knit sweater. 

She additionally slipped into a pair of black boots and carried a black purse to hold items she needed during the weekend outing. 

Affleck also kept it stylishly casual wearing a pair of khaki trousers as well as a cream-colored button up and jacket on top.   

When the former couple wed in 2022, Lopez became stepmother to his three children: Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel – whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner. 

The singer is also mother to 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she welcomed with ex-husband Marc Anthony. 

Despite her split from the Good Will Hunting actor, Lopez has maintained a positive relationship with his kids. 

Earlier this year in September, the songstress was seen treating Samuel to a shopping spree as they enjoyed an outing together.  

Back in October, Lopez and Affleck flashed cheerful smiles as they attended the premiere of their movie Kiss Of The Spider Woman in NYC. 

A source told People at the time that there is ‘no romantic union’ but stated that the pair are ‘in a really good place.’ 

The insider added, ‘They continue to support each other. They’re both proud of what they accomplished together.’ 

During an interview with E! News at the screening, Affleck also praised Lopez over her performance in the musical thriller. 

The actor said that she was ‘incredible in this movie’ as well as ‘fabulous.’ 

He further expressed, ‘And it’s an enormously difficult – it’s all these masters, so it’s not edited in such a way where you can make a little mistake here and there in the dance. 

‘It’s singing and dancing and acting and also trying to hold together these multiple tones in the movie. That’s just probably the maximum level of difficulty for a performer.’

Affleck then later added of her performance in the film: ‘She’s amazing, spectacular, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.’ 

While Lopez took on a leading role in the project, the Oscar-winning actor had been one of the producers.

And while having a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, the Gone Girl actor also offered insight into her relationship with his children post-divorce. 

‘For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular. Great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them.’

He continued, ‘I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.’

Lopez and Affleck’s reunion over the past weekend came shortly after the former couple had an awkward run-in. 

It occurred last week as the two stars both attended a school play which featured their respective children. 

However, the pair seemingly did not interact publicly at the event. 

The singer was joined by her longtime manager Benny Medina and her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez. And Affleck was accompanied by ex Jennifer Garner as well as their son Samuel for the evening.
