The Wiggles star Evie Ferris has announced her engagement to group backup dancer Zane Powell.

The beloved children’s entertainer, 28, confirmed the exciting news on social media on Wednesday by sharing a precious gallery of heartwarming photos.

One precious picture captured the sweet moment Zane got down on one knee and proposed to Evie at a stunning beachside location.

Another showed the newly engaged couple tenderly embracing, as Evie flaunted her eye-popping diamond engagement ring to the camera.

A third picture captured the lovers sharing a passionate kiss as they celebrated the milestone occasion.

Evie captioned the gallery with some exciting words: ‘Best Christmas yet!! 17.12.25’

Several of Evie’s bandmates took to the comments section to extend their congratulations. 

‘Okay, I’m sobbing again. love you both so much and forever,’ gushed fellow Wiggle Lucia Field.

‘Yayyyy congratulations guys!! We are soo excited,’ added John Pearce.

‘Soooo beautiful. Congratulations you are both such beautiful people,’ Lachlan Gillespie chimed in. 

In 2023, an eagle-eyed fan of The Wiggles shared an awkward moment between Yellow Wiggles Evie Ferris and Tsehay Hawkins on TikTok.

The footage shows supporting Wiggle Evie dancing on a picnic set with her bandmates. 

Suddenly, lead Yellow Wiggle Tsehay moves into frame and positions herself directly in front of Evie, briefly obscuring her from the camera.

Evie is then seen moving back into frame with a somewhat annoyed expression on her face over what just occurred.

Evie joined the Aussie children’s group in 2021. 

The Wiggles were formed in 1991 by Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, Red Wiggle Murray Cook, Purple Wiggle Jeff Fatt and Yellow Wiggle Greg Page.

Anthony Field is the only original member still in the band.
