AS Helen Flanagan ignites a new row with Scott Sinclair over co-parenting their children, a source tells The Sun what’s really going on between the exes.
The former Coronation Street actress, 35, publicly slammed her ex-fiancé as a “piece of s**t” on Tuesday as she claimed he missed their son Charlie’s nativity play.
Helen and Scott, who split in 2022, share children Matilda, 10, and seven-year-old Delilah as well as son Charlie, four.
And now, a source has revealed that Helen was expecting Scott to watch Charlie’s nativity play due to her busy workload.
She is currently starring as The Wicked Queen in a production of Snow White in Liverpool.
The source said: “Helen is working full time at the moment in panto so was expecting Scott to cover the nativity and go for her as she has a lot on her plate and he is retired.”
“When he didn’t bother, she wasn’t happy and took to her social media to vent her frustration and make a point.
“Their relationship is difficult at times, co-parenting is hard.”
Scott, who previously played for Bristol Rovers, shared a post to his Instagram showing his recent trip to Abu Dhabi.
Heading to the UAE to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the post featured a number of snaps from the trip. He captioned: “What a weekend-Abu Dhabi F1..”
Days later, Helen then shared the post to her own Instagram Stories, where she scathingly hit out at Scott.
“You really are a piece of s***. How dare you not turn up to Charlie’s nativity,” she raged.
She also shared a picture with Charlie following the play, writing: “Loved Charlie’s nativity my, my heartbeat.”
“Scott is yet to speak out on the row, but the pair appear to no longer be following one another on the platform.
It’s not the first time their co-parenting relationship has been tested, with Helen previously admitting Scott had her number blocked on his phone.
In October 2024, she said on The Mail’s The Life of Bryony podcast: “I mean, I’m on block at the moment on Scott‘s phone. I really am. I’m on block.”
However, the actress later assured that she and Scott were on talking terms to parent their brood.
Things appear to have taken a turn again in recent months as hinted at trouble “co-parenting” with Scott earlier this month, telling The Sun: “He lives like Somerset and I live in Lancashire. So we live so far away from each other, which is really difficult when you’ve got three young children.
“I hate calling it co-parenting because I don’t really feel like a co-parent to be honest with you anyway.”
