PREGNANT The Saturdays singer Vanessa White has revealed the gender of her unborn baby.
The popstar, 36, shocked fans when it was revealed yesterday that she had secretly tied the knot with her DJ fiancé, Emmanuel Lawal.
Vanessa and Emmanuel were wed in an intimate ceremony with just two guests at Hackney Town Hall with the singer heavily pregnant on the day of the ceremony.
Now, off the back of the big day, the gender of the couple’s first baby has been confirmed.
As revealed in British Vogue, the newlyweds are expecting a baby boy in a matter of weeks.
It will be the first child for the pair who have been dating for close to eight years.
The pair also revealed their plans to tie the knot again in a huge summer ceremony in Majorca – attended by all of their family and friends, in which they confirmed their soon-to-be-born son would be their pageboy.
She said of the occasion: “Knowing that he will be there is the nicest thing.”
Vanessa only announced both her pregnancy and engagement last month – much to the delight of her followers.
The couple had only become engaged just five weeks ago with Vanessa telling Vogue that Emmanuel had proposed during a romantic weekend getaway to the Cotswolds.
For their intimate day – Vanessa and Emmanuel wed in front of just two guests – one of whom was their personal photographer capturing images for the big day which were shared exclusively to the A-list fashion publication.
Speaking of the big day, Vanessa told Vogue: “It was so nice.
“I really do recommend people just going off and doing it on their own.”
Vanessa wore a chic Self-Portrait X Christopher Kane designer dress for the big day, with both bride and groom also opting for Christian Louboutin shoes.
The All Fired Up singer said: “It’s so funny, because you imagine what you’re going to get married in, and for a registry I thought I’d wear some sort of cool suit, but being pregnant, that was never going to work.
“When I tried on the dress, I knew it had to be it.
“It was just one of those moments where it clicked.”
The pair were driven around London in a Bentley by a private chauffeur for the day with Vanessa having previously worked as an ambassador for the luxury car firm.
Before heading to Hackney, Emmanuel took a detour to a top florist in Mayfair to source the flowers before the pair were driven to Alex Dilling at Hotel Café Royal following the ceremony.
Vanessa and her new hubby were granted sole exclusive use of the eatery to mark the special occasion and were served countless courses.
She said:“We were there for hours.
“We didn’t get home until 11pm!”
Vanessa first rose to fame in The Saturdays in 2008 and achieved a string of hit singles with the group.
After parting ways in 2014, she focused on solo music and released R&B-inspired tracks including Relationship Goals, Rotation and Boy 4 Life.
In 2017, she pocketed a cool £200,000 as one of that year’s highest-paid stars on ITV‘s I’m A Celebrity.
In recent years, Vanessa has become part of London fashion’s elite and is regularly invited to attend premium bashes across the capital.
