HOLLY Hagan’s tragic sister collapsed and died from multi-organ failure following a night out at a club, an inquest heard.
Darci Rose Gibson was at Manchester‘s Warehouse Project when she went into cardiac arrest.
The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital but tragically couldn’t be saved and died two days later on October 20.
An inquest heard she died from “multi-organ failure” and “MDMA overdose”, MEN reports.
Toxicology tests found “high levels” of the drug were present in Darci’s system.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances or evidence of third party involvement in her death.
Acting senior coroner, Zak Golombeck, said he received a call from a GMP officer at the time of the tragedy.
He added: “There was a suspicion at the time that she had taken illicit drugs.
“This was confirmed to the clinicians.”
Mr Golombeck adjourned the full inquest until a date to be set.
Geordie Shore star Holly previously revealed her sister had tragically died in an emotional Instagram post.
She wrote: “It is with immeasurable grief and sadness that our baby girl, my baby sister Darci Rose passed away peacefully holding my hand surrounded by family and her best friends.
“She was never in any pain. The last four days have been something I hope no family ever has to go through. We are traumatised in every sense of the word.”
Thanking medics involved in her care, Holly continued: “Because of you all we have had the opportunity to hold her hand, stroke her hair and feel her heart beating for the last time.
“We will forever be grateful for the way you have looked after her and us throughout this unimaginable process.
“Darci is so beautiful and she genuinely didn’t even realise it.”
Following the tragedy, Holly told how Darci had mixed crystal MDMA into a drink at the club night.
The reality star, who recently revealed she was expecting her second child, also revealed her “regret” over the night Darci died.
She told Married At First Sight expert Paul C. Brunson’s podcast We Need To Talk: “For some reason that night and I don’t know why I didn’t, I wish I had messaged her, because we know what Warehouse Project is.
“I don’t know why I didn’t think to message her to say what you doing tonight, let me know what you’re doing tonight, let me help guide you.”
